Everything I grow is strictly personal too, I don't sell shit, only gift it. Make sure you do everything exactly as you would any other grow, nothing changes. Only thing I'd advise is every 3 weeks add 2 tbsp/1.5 gallon of blackstrap molasses

I can guarantee you won't lose yield.
That's an interesting statement. I've seen claims over the years about different approaches but they've all been anecdotes.

I've attached the only research I've been able to find on pruning cannabis and, if I understand correctly what you're suggesting, that approach had one of the worst outcomes of any of the pruning methods tested as well as the control plant, which was not pruned.

In addition to a significant loss in overall biomass, the "BBLR+defoliation" approach resulted in significant loss in the amount of flower, being perhaps 40% below the "double prune" method and roughly 10% less flower than the control plant.

You can find a desired answer to any question, doesn't mean it's fact. So the loss in biomass you speak of, are you referring to loose fluffy popcorn? If you grow for trim waste material that's cool but the vast majority don't. Making hash or whatever from sugar trim is ok, I prefer to use prime buds. Not saying toss out your waste, but you'd be surprised how many do and historically have, as its consider a waste material.

Here's a fun fact, cannabis is a wind pollinated plant, terminal sites that receive wind are prioritized by the plant and nutrition is dedicated for its development in the hopes of becoming pollinated. So if you've got an inner canopy that's not even getting light, how much air movement do you think it's getting?
Let's say you realize this and place a fan under the canopy to help blow through it, still, is any of it getting light? Indoor artifical lights is a very very different thing from outdoor natural sunlight.

I find it very contradicting when people accept and advocate for lollipoping and then in the same breath condem selectively timed defoliation. But to each their own. It's works for me and has been for a long long time. Mabey I'm special, but then again I don't do the bro science clicky culture shit. All because there's a independent test or a podcast video doesn't mean shit to me. Life is full of variables and I'm not one of them.

Now the only question you should be asking yourself is..... why would a commercial operation utilize that pruning technique?

Some funky smells coming out of this tent....lemon,lime,rotten socks, floor cleaner,gas.... its insane man, thank the lord for carbon filtration!
Day 35
I know the 2nd pic is big bad wolf chem91 leaner,it has those distinctive rubbery dark green leaves that the 91 is famous for.....zoom in on the pics, some serious frost already on the fans.....csi humboldt rocks!

She's looking good my guy, packing on the frost. I miss the old days of my HID systems, some good memories there, and they produce some great buds. Swap out to a 10,000k MH in the last 2 weeks and she'll really frost up!!!

Igrow organic cause its so frickin easy!i rarely ph water, plants are always pretty happy,a few basic practices along the way... air flow and humidoty are my biggest concerns, keep humidity below 55%,idrop to 40ish in the last 2 weeks of flower.ive never had any major issues... also, beds seem to work so much better, plants love the root space, easier to keep soil at a constant temp(around 65-70 degrees)i also insulate under the tent so that helps a lot too

I have a floraflex 730watt led,but it almost killed my plants!!it cost me over $600.
I am afraid totry it again....its sad.
This was about 3 weeksbefore i flipped.the plants were loterally dying, wilted, brown, major defs.....i switched it with the 600 hps and within 2 weeks they were healthy and happy again.......AND IT WAS THE LED 100%!!

Be conservative with the blackstrap because that can antagonize an uptake of N with the repeated ca/mg +k. Fish emulsion is a good catalyst to get the brew going but again, be conservative. Kelp and fulvic is fine, but that fulvic will make your ca and mg more available. I'd personally go every other week with the tea. Despite what people hear, AACT thats nutritional can burn if it's given too often and not tailored properly. Less is way more with this stuff.
If you have an aloe Vera plant, I'd cut off a leaf, fillet out the inner gel and throw that in a blender with 500-1000ml pure water. Add that blended volume to about 3 gallons AACT. But only when your ready to use it, it'll foam like crazy and spew out. Use within 15mins or the aloe gel will oxidize and lose its punch.

For sure, sounds like it was too strong or close. Led are definitely a different game than HID. That was a hard long lesson for me, I was so used to keeping the hoods 18" from canopy I continued to do it with led. Smh, fried everything in flower. Veg they did great, but you can't stay in veg for ever
