Cruise ship captain

I just saw a longer and more detailed transcript of the conversation between the captain and the Coast Guard. Damn, he is in a lot of trouble. Unbelievable.

I seen something about it earlier.I never knew it was actually illegal for the captain to abandon ship.

Well, I've always known it was traditional but apparently for something like a common carrier of people it's the law.
That Coast Guard commandant was pissed.

As a ship's captain, he should have remained there and done his job... rather than being one of the first people on the lifeboats!

Guess he didnt believe in women and children first....
