Crowns! what now?

Hi all

I've got what is apparently called foxtails or crowns on my buds pretty much all over

now I read that it is possible for a Sativa dominant strain to do this (which I am growing) BUT, I've also read it's due to heat stress.
Q: should I be worried or do anything about it? the way I see it the buds are expanding so WTF right?

It's common to see foxtailing with high temps. If you don't want loose larfy bud, get the temps under control. 72-76f is ideal. RH 50-60%

I wrote high heat is prob the reason.

what I mean is that these foxtails are enlarging my bud weight and volume at the best time , close to harvest.
Why are they a bad thing?? The bud itself is very tight, not airy or fluffy at all.
I love them!

Any reason I should try and avoid this? tnx

My experience

One strain
Two systems (one DWC and one Flood & Drain table)
Started flower at same time
Same room, next to each other
Same nutrients used

Difference was the table had a 180 gallon reservoir, never changed out where the DWC sites were each 20 gallon changed weekly.

Tables foxtailed. These had more distance to light so if anything were a degree or two cooler at canopy.

Table had more nitrogen in later flowering than I would like and this is what I believe may have caused foxtailing. Also took 12 extra days to reach the same trichome cloudy/milky with a few amber.

Ohhhh that makes sense I guess..

Although these two started foxtailing after pre-harvest flush which should have really left them N-less.
Unless I had Nute-Lock which the flush fixed and then a spike in N intake took place?

I can't really get the temp down as it easily 35+ outside everyday now..

They are growing like monsters, I'm thinking of just harvesting as the original bud is nearly all cloudy, maybe even few amber tric. Foxtails are clear, not ripe

otherwise not sure what to do? ... ?
