Seemed OK to me. Never had an issue. First grow. Lamb's Breath Auto on left, Jack Herer Auto on right.

Ordered Super Silver Haze Auto and Kings Brad Auto on Monday and received in the mail yesterday. They appear to be carried by Rocket Seeds now. Seeds came with a 100 page catalogue of all the Auto's Rocket carries from different breeders, including Crop King. Nothing wrong with the marketing IMO. It's kind of nice to just flip through the coffee table book of strains and see what strains, THC levels, etc. are involved in each one. Better than the stupid pins they sent for the other ones. Not sure why folks don't consider CropKing breeders to be honest. Something I'm missing?

They literally just sell bulk seeds from Spanish suppliers. All those "breeders" they offer in that catalog do the same thing.

Crop king is up charging for seeds you can get much cheaper at other places like seedsman, world of seeds, female seeds or royal queen etc...

Almost all big name European breeders/banks just resell bulk seeds. You can dig around and find more out using Google if you're really interested in finding out more.

I've looked at a number of sources and I'm getting that they are a Canadian breeder. Also getting a shit load of posts from various user on sites calling them pollen chuckers and such. Are you saying that they do not breed their own strains, even if the strain is the same name as another breeder?

At no building anywhere on the planet do people working for crop king grow and seed marijuana plants. They purchase seeds in bulk and sell them.

Again. Will the seeds grow weed. Yes. Is it convenient...heck yes. Are you getting the tip top premium...no. id rather pay a little more and get something special.

Your initial statement is a pretty strong one to be honest. Should I just take your word for it? Can you at least point me to a source please? This is one source I've come across saying that they do there own. No idea how old this site or info is though.

Yep. They're not breeding anything.

They'll tell you they do everything and will deny the bulk seed for sure.

Dude over at peak seeds, Mike J, sent me an email a couple years ago that laid it all out. He was approached by a big investment group that wanted to buy his brand. That group owned tons of companies. No idea who those folks are maybe Dinafem or just an investment firm?

Basically they wanted his brand to add to the list. I can't remember if Mike J mentioned any other breeders. I did post about it, maybe even posted a screenshot of the email, in the peakseedsbc thread years ago, 2-3.

I remember reading the woman from Rare Dankness explaining that they "sent" their cut to a Spanish grower to produce their seed stock sold at Attitude seedbank. So even some American companies use Spanish farms to produce their seeds.

So the Spanish have the breeding down pat! That makes a lot of sense. I realize that getting actual hard info on this is pretty difficult, so I hope nobody gets me wrong for the way I ask questions. Used to be an Info tech. :) My own personal experience with the process deals with Tomato's and seeds I got from some of my Italian Father in Law's plants. They're the old school ones that you really can't find unless you know the Family. Or their neighbors.

Have you even smoked the plants yet..or is it that youve succesfully grew what looks to be marijuana and are convinced there the best.

Hows about you try something better. And do a side by side. Fuck the only autos id trust are mephisto (sp?) And i dont even fuck with autos.

Crop king sucks.
Period.
The end.

The plants in the above post are pretty much smoked. That was my 2nd grow. My first grow succumbed to the rain we had outside that year. Had to redo my basement for flooding as well. At least that's my excuse.

I'm telling you, their Lambs Breath is killer. Smelled up the house like cheesy Mangoes. To my smell anyways.

They are not a breeder. They just sell seeds. Some of the stuff on there is hit or miss. They take credit cards and will have the seeds at your door in 3 days.

Imo buying from them is for convenience not for genetics.
Yes, I first started using CKS. I spent about $4,000 in seeds over a period of 12 months and 3 consecutive grows my harvest popped seeds due to hermies popping nanners. There were no sexually stable genetics, all had hermies. Therefore I quit them and moved to Cali Connection only to find out their genetics is trash also.

one thing i know for sure that i wont pay 5 months of my time on something I'm not sure off hoping that I will get a good pheno. just my 2 cents.

I would thro in some fire right away.
Yes I agree. I have adopted this phenomenon sense dealing with Cali Connection garbage strains. No more buying seeds from someone who knows nothing of where, how etc breeding.

Yes they strains are garbage and fakes, about 90% are fakes and no testing is required. As a breeder you get VIP offer from a member that they will see your seeds for 15% for each seed they sell. Also, they use photos from other growers, the photos ain’t even from the strain. 2nd, the THC levels they post is not from the strain as if they tested it, they use Leafy to get they analysis and THC levels. Plus, 87% - 96% are hermies. Low quality and hermies everywhere. That marketing is it that’s all they got of quality. They don’t know 1 thing about the breeder or genetics or mothers are fathers etc. Also most the shit is fake. Jack Herer? The originator said he never release seeds so it’s fake then.

No worries . I'm just a home grower in a legal country that will grow whatever I want. It works for me.

Aint heard much good said about crop king on a side note not all Spanish seeds are bulk shit thats just the guys supplying all the fem only companies and some dutch ones like that mostly sure but there are some good breeders in spain too just alot of em get a bad rep cos its where europe bulk grows for seeds as hollands tougher on it now and some people who do the bulk seeds thing can be a tad dodgy

I totally agree. I was using CK when I first began growing when Canada legalized it in 2018. I initially chose CK because they were fairly affordable, easy to pay, and in Canada. I had absolutely no experience with growing the plant or how to choose a breeder/reseller. The Jack Herer I did this year for my first solo cup contest was one of the first Crop King orders from 2018. I've learned quite a bit about growing since then so a lot of the nuances and approaches to growing aren't as mysterious any longer. But I will put a laugh emoji on a post that declares "fake seeds" or "not the real thing".

I honestly couldn't give a shit if the seeds I buy are named after one specific pheno that someone grew 20 years ago that may or may not represent the strain someone else grew. I'm currently using @CoastalMarySeeds for my supply and am super happy with the results I've gotten so far. It's all about the experience and what appeals to you as a grower and smoker. The naming convention means nothing at this point, IMO. There might be some IP considerations when branding seeds in this country as well, but I'm unsure.
