Critique My 2nd Grow! Pineapple Express :)

I'm growing on a 70/30 coco/perlite blend with two 100W v2 HLG 100 LED lights in a 2x4x5 (foot) grow tent. My first grow got stunted (but finished) due to height related issues so I hope I can train this one better. I'm using a small 2-gallon air-pot (trying to limit the height of the pot as much as possible) with high-frequency fertigation using Dr. Coco's nutrient schedule/formula.

I'm missing some of its supplements but am following it using the GH trio, calmag, silica, and diamond nectar.

I'll try to post weekly photos here (or more if requested). I'm looking for people to critique my grow as much as possible (especially with training the lower part of the plant to encourage good bud site growth). I can't keep ideal veg temp/humidity levels in the tent but I seem to be able to keep it in the 70 - 80F and 50% to 60% ranges.

Day 26

This is a few days after being topped. I removed the bottom 2 side branches too (and first 2 true leaves) and will train it with 4 main colas in this 2-gallon air-pot.

Happy with the grow so far. Humidity levels are low though with it being winter time here. I haven't invested in a humidifier since humidity is crazy high here 80% of the year. That is definitely throwing the VPD out of wack and affecting the nutrient uptake (possibly causing the slight claw in the new leaf tips too) but I'm just going to wait it out. I keep the exhaust fan on 1 to keep rh ~20% higher than what is in the room outside the tent. That's the best I can do without shutting it off and having the temperatures spike (and causing a huge change in conditions when it gets fed)

Temps range between 70 to 80 when the tent is closed and the humidity gets to 50% when it's closed as well.

Looks fine... I think that is called Canoeing.. Lights too close maybe?

thanks!

the lights are about 22 inches away. started at 2 feet for seedling and haven't moved them yet (didn't notice any seedling stretch, which was good)

if I had to guess. . .the canoeing, or whatever it's called, seems to be from the finger leaves growing too wide for the stem. I just think the clawing on the small/new growths in the middle are from the environment

but yea, I'm not worried about it. I'm just focusing on pushing the branches down right now to make it easier to grow them out horizontally for a bit. the pot is very narrow though so I'm not going to have many anchor points once they grow beyond the pot.

I had planned on getting some garden stakes, but didn't want to invest much more in this grow

So I ended up slowing down on the pictures when I got discouraged from snapping a branch during training. I worked around it by topping other branches to make up for the lost cola. I ended up with sort of a claw type shape

[Feb. 26th - a couple of weeks after the flip to 12/12]

I did have less trouble keeping control of the height with the plant (compared to my first grow) but it is still something I've had to focus on and keep it maintained (until about a week ago after the stretch finished)

Here are some photos taken from this week. I'm 96 days from seed, flipped to flower around mid february and am currently 37 days into flower (first pistils)

I've had a slight issue with burning the tips (likely due to a high EC) but my mixture has been much lower than the formula I'm following (cause I'm not using all of its supplements). It projects an EC of 1.2 to 1.3 at this stage in flower but I'm seeing burnt tips on anything above 0.8ish EC.

I would have expected a flux of 10% give or take (since it's from seed and the genetics lottery is so random with them) on whether or not the plant can handle a full EC dose, but seeing it prefer being so low was a shock to me. I'm doing high-frequency fertigation btw so it's not like I'm letting the coco get dry during the day (which would spike up the salt content of the coco, raising the EC)

but maybe it's just drinking more than I can provide it overnight. is my only guess (as I'm in a rather small air-pot)

either way, am very happy with the progress so far :)
would still love to hear any critiques though. in case I'm missing something
