Critical kush grow

so it's a little late to be starting a journal but better late than never. In June I started 5 critical kush seeds from barneys farm and 1 blue dream seed for this grow. Of the 5 crit seeds I have 2 or maybe 3 pheno types growing. I have 4 cuts of each plant in my flower room for a total of 24 in a 5x9 room under 2000w drip hydroponic scrog. This is my first scrog ever. I am looking to get the short flowering period phenotype of the critical kush and am trialing the blue dream as a possible replacement to the jack herer I have been growing for a while. Currently I am ten days into flowering. I am using dnf nutrients for veg and dnf base with massive for flowering this cycle. Pictures shortly

so these photos are from 14 days into flowering. these basically stretched for 14 days and have now been getting way bigger buds on them. the growth is a bit nuts as there is so many tops. i need input on two things, is it critical that the canopy be totally even for a good scrog and should i defoliate a little or a lot to allow light penetration to more bud sites? overall i am happy with the way this grow is coming along. temps hit 79-80 lights on and 68 lights off.

my mother plants got neglected a bit so my new cuttings dont look the best. hopefully they pull through for me. ive been vegging under 2 t5 4 footers. i have been using well water with tds of 400 ppm. i just set up a ro system so with the next watering tomorrow will be with ro water going forward.

now at day 21. Everything is coming along nicely. i think it might be a tad over full in there but we'll see how it goes. I moved the light closer this week and changed the nutes tonight.

so a bit late getting this posted here. pics from day 28, last thursday. Things are starting to fatten up nicely now. The smell in the room is getting pretty intense as well. If everything keeps on like this it should end up being a good yield at the end. The blue dream plants have not stretched as much as the ck plants have but they are slightly more frosty. I have been changing the water every ten days, topping up the water (5 gal a day) and adding nutes as necessary to maintain 1400ppm. Temps are 68 at night 75-79 lights on. Water temps 68-71.

So we just passed day 35 on this grow. fresh nutes on day 34. This morning i did some defoliating to get more light to the lower bud sites and removed leaves that are yellow and ready to go anyways. Things are coming along nice now. I dont see much change from last week size wise.

The clones i took ages ago have finally rooted. I have been a little concerned about that as i have only 30 days or so to veg these for the next round. ill be putting them in cubes today and ill try to snap some pics while im doing that for your viewing pleasure. Oh i also threw a white widow and northern lights bean in there too incase none of my other clones took. ill just grow those out as they were freebee seeds.

Heres some lights off pics. They didn't turn out the best as there is no light in the room except the grow lights. Using a flashlight to get the camera to focus is a bit wack. You get the idea though. I added terpinator to my res last night and we'll see if it makes any difference or not.

day 42 photos. today i am at day 46. The blue dream is gonna get chopped way earlier than the ck. Not what i was planning but thats the way she goes. You'll see on the day 49 pics coming this week. They look totally done, just waiting on some more amber tricomes. This blue dream is ass backwards to what i expected in a sativa. It stretched less than the ck and is done way ealrier as well. Too bad i didnt keep the mother from this. If it turns out to be awesome a 50 day strain would be nice as a keeper. The crystal on these is awesome and the smell is better than the ck at the moment.

Not sure what happened there but the post posted itself half done.

i have 20 ck cuttings going but the way they look currently is embarrassing so until they grow a bit no pics. Im not sure what happened exactly. Mothers looked dingy and the cuttings took forever to root as well.

Heres my day 51 update. Everything is getting closer now. The blue dream is looking an impressive color. This week i found a plant with seeds. It seems to be localized to maybe a 2x2 area, but its probably worse than that.

In my veg room i have 18 rooted cuttings and i started 10 more for insurance. Ill shoot some pics of that soon.

After this grow i am planning to start a perpetual grow. quarter of the tables every 2 weeks seems about right. spread out the fun and the chore of trimming bud.

So this crop came down at 77 days. I will be starting a perpetual grow as soon as I get rid of mites I have been battling all of a sudden in my veg room. My new journal for my perpetual will be here.

Looks very clean buddy. Did you have some pictures of the buds before harvest? Also did you note your yield?
