So I'm on day 27 and a couple of fan leaves are already turning yellow. I kno that the leaves change in flowering but I thought it happened way later..normal?

We can't go in there all straight-eyed...he'll know something's up.

Clean up below... Aka lollipop..... Little inner nodes and pretty much the bottom third of the plants

Ive pruned most of the branches and left the top 2 nodes on each branch. Should I remove the lower leaves? Iv removed most of the smaller leaves and left the larger fan leaves. Would you remove all lower bud sites including pre flowers?

Lower bud sites.... Fans that are blocking sites, this is something you'll learn with time when you harvest and see what didn't really get light... Halfway through flower you'll see sites that are scrawny..

Ive just done some more pruning. All lower leaves and sites. They look bare now lol.ive also got a dinafem cali hash plant and a critical+ automatic. This is my first auto. Its been producing buds for about 10 days. 20140309_163520-1-1.jpg20140309_163520-1-1.jpgHave you had any experiance with autos. Im worried that the change in light schedule will affect it.

Looking good I did an auto cheese once, light doesn't matter they're budding regardless... You want them to still be on a schedule.. for root development that happens at night... Also chemicals that induce and contribute to flowering build up over night

I picked up Ed Rosenthal's newest book and ur the shit doc. It was definitely a magnesium deficiency.. weird color, dry and crispy dying affected leaves. I kicked up the Cal mag to what u do and I might add a little Epsom salt next feed for a little boost. But ur spot on, thanks man

Thanks. I thought autos needed 18/6 from seed to harvest. Cant wait till my 4 cks and chp start producing buds like the auto is. Should I give them a dark period to kickstart budding or just let them start naturall since the light schedule is changed now?
