Crispy Curly after 1 watering

Not exactly a watering issue. Don't deflect the issues. Issues before the weekend.....obviously. Sickly looking plant. Lots of issues looks like are going on.

It was watered on Saturday and looked absolutely prior to that. I wish I had photos it was green it looked perfect there was no problems on any of the leaves nothing was twisted or crispy it was an ideal plant. You can think that I'm making this up but I definitely am not

If it looked bad at all I would not have gone out of town
Ill add that the white stuff on leaves is DE and not PM lol. That would definitely look like an extra issue

I, 100 percent think you're exaggerating. Your plant shows many issues. Some are not recent. Ex. bugs, bug spray, cold room, too wet and light damage are some probable examples.

Ok, let’s roll with the “plants were happy before this” scenario. What did you ask your helper to water them with - plain water or mixed nutrients ? What kind of soil/medium are you using. It’s hard for someone to fuck up one single instance so badly that it half-kills the plant. It was either pretty egregious, or you had some other issues that were happening but not obvious yet.

There are many forums that people will not believe you. It doesn't mean that everyone on that forum doesn't believe you. I'm thinking you might have some sort of root zone problem. Do your pots have good drainage? What size, are they fabric? How was the plant watered on Saturday?
You can understand why someone would suspect bugs. The white spots could be suspected PM or bugs. Without more information, guesses can be very accurate or not even close. I'm pretty sure she looked nice before you took the weekend away. I understand that you are trying to fix a troubled plant. Not everyone on this site is a Negative Nancy. Most of us want your plant to do well. Other people want you to grow sequoias. You don't need to satisfy any of us. As long as she gets you some tasty buds. Keep up the good work. If she's not performing they way you want, then a little more information can help. A lot more information would help more.

To me they look like they have been sick for awhile. If not, I apologize. But they look like they were sprayed with something wet recently. What? The DE...was it 100% DE or are there additives in it. To me it looks like stuff is starting to mold. Fungal issues? What is your humidity and temp range?

...maybe your better half doesn't like your growing? is there a possibility of sabotage? or maybe the watering can wasn't clean and something mistakenly was watered ON the leaves... i suspect that the plants were incorrectly watered i.e. watered on top of leaves vs the soil directly...and then there may have been something in the water.
we have some nasty invasive bamboo, and lots of poison ivy. in the warmer months, i make a mix of salt water, like 200% salinity, and spray that directly on leaves and sure enough after a couple of days, the leaves look similar to your pictures.
regardless of what happened, the best course of action for saving this would be to cut off all damaged leaves, and see what you're left with. is it worth saving? honestly after only 30 days in, i'd just restart with new beans, if you have them of course.

Definitely not from one watering unless the person watered with something other than water.
Since autos hate excessive stress - worse could happen it will stunt . It looks rough. You mentioned DE which when wet does nothing except make a slurry mess.
DE should be bone dry for its desiccant / bug slicing qualities to work. So sounds like plant had prior issues.
Lets see more pics of whole plant.

Hey everyone who was involved with this thread Im sorry for freaking out. I actually had a mental breakdown and ended up in the hospital the night after this thread. Not just because of plant issues but many things. Mostly due to disability and constant. But stress off plant probs didn't help, and kinda pushed me over the edge.
That grow ended up tossed after my time in the hospital. Still not sure what happened.
but grows have been going well since. And my partner has been involved and helpful with the plants. Shes been enjoying it lately!
