Crinkly Metallic

First pic is a Barney's Farm CBD Blue Shark. Leaves are metallic and crinkly.

2nd pic is a Critical Cure, which is healthy.

Soil is mg potting mix. I normally grow hydro, but thought I'd try these out in soil and see what happens. 70-72F, 45% rh. A51 xgs190 led at half power, 100W, 20" from canopy.

Any idea what the issue is? My research says copper deficiency but its supposedly rare.

Looks like your mix is too hot for your first plant. Did you recently start feeding them? And did you FIM the second plant?
They're both fimmed, the sickly one started new growth faster than the healthy one, oddly enough.

It's miracle gro, no additional nutes. Not ideal, but I figured I'd give it a shot while waiting for clones for my hydro system.

I suppose one of those little time release nute balls might've exploded on the roots :-P

MG is loaded with nitrogen. Your leaves have that shiny look from the excess nitrogen. Also looks like you need to add some calcium and magnesium to both. They need it and MG soil doesn't provide much of it. If you plan on growing them out in the MG soil then I would put and inch of sand on the top of the soil to prevent fungus gnats. MG soil is notorious for fungus gnats.

Thanks guys. I might just take some clones. If I can get them healthier, I will update. Meh!
No Strain is the same , and to avoid that kind of thing , now i only germ them in very light soil and feed them as i please . to avoid things like that to happen .
It worked for me. ;)
good luck there m8

Thanks. I haven't sprouted seeds in years, but trying to find some cbd strains I can tolerate for personal use.

oh , ok good luck then ;) i hope they recover soon. if your problem is going worse you can allways try to ultimate method , take them out take some dirt out and put them in to a light soil. it worked from me several times , i already saved a few seedlings like that . but it can go wrong also , we never know :|
