Started four seeds on 16 Jan and they went into soil at 0420 this morning. Not superstitious or anything, but I was up...
growing in cloth bags with stratified soil. Bottom third is Rootz, sprinkling of powdered bat guano, another layer of FF Ocean Forrest, then a layer of FF Happy Frog. Good dose of diatomaceous earth mixed in the top. Poked a hole about 4 inches deep with a lawn probe and filled that half way with FF Light Warrior and added Great White. Dropped the seeds in and filled the hole with more Light Warrior. I assume that giving the seedlings the loosest soil to start benefits them, and the soil gets more dense as you go further down toward the bottom of the pot. I used this method on previous grows, and they seem to like it...
Advertised time to harvest is 65-70 days, so shooting for end of March/early April to bring it all in...just in time to start another 4 to spend their early life indoors and them move outdoors on 1 May.
the grow space is in a tub/shower enclosure Surrounded by LED and T5 lighting. Only have the LED running now, T5s will come on after they show 3 nodes.
a friend of mine started four Strawberry Nuggets from Mephisto on the same day, so it’ll be fun to watch/manage both grows simultaneously.
and away we go...
