Great thread and impressive grow.

You are making me supplement a Hans with two CXA3050 instead of going to CFL-route, and perhaps even try hempy buckets instead of soil as first grow.
Hopefully you will yield as much as it looks!
Hempy buckets rock.

1. Super simple (can never over water a Hempy)
2. Can use smaller pots than soil grows. My tubs are 2 gallon I believe. Picked them up at the dollar store
3. Bulk perlite is super cheap
4. Hydroponic growth rates (hempy is just passive hydro)
5. Flexible (Can water every day for enhanced growth, but can go up to 5 days without watering if necessary)

Chopped her down yesterday. Will post dry weight by end of week

Don't mind the toilet in the pic as I got them drying in the dark spare bathroom as that place does a good job handling stinky things :-)

The size and denseness of the nugs are just unbelievable for such low wattage.

Ive been thinking about getting a 4x8 foot sheet of 1/8 inch aluminum and just flush mounting the leds to it, hang one of those and rock on. Maybe need a little reinforcement but it would be about bulletproof. Whatcha think?

bbspills-

great grow. what were your dimensions of your grow space? Im looking for a simple led set up for a 2x3, or 2x4. If I went with the 3050 and a driver per led, how many would I need to cover that space? How many could I wire to a single power cord?

Thanks again and awesome grow.

I'm working on a CXA panel, and was impressed at how compact your plant was. I wanted to ask whether you would add in 5000K LEDs if you were building an array or whether you would stick with all 2700s. I see earlier in the thread you mentioned liking the 5000K but now that the grow is done I'm hoping for your thoughts on it.

The panel may end up being a flower only light, if that makes any difference.

1 per sq/ft would be ideal.

Depending on how many would want to run, I would look into a 300-400W power supply, then use buck pucks for each led. So everything would be run off of one power plug.

Meanwell sells power supplies and puck drivers.

I only used 2700K throughout the entire grow. Honestly don't think I would have benefited from the 5000K because these nugs were so dense and the plant vegged fantastic as well.

I think 5000K promotes too much leaf grow and these buds were about the easiest to trim as the flower to leaf ratio was crazy good.

If it's only a flower panel, then I really see no need for added blue

Ok guys, time for round two. Just put in my baby C99 from Female Seeds. Let's hope round 2 goes as well as round 1 did.

P.S. The Blue Widow might be one of the stinkiest plants I have ever grown.

By the way my outer dimensions are approximately 25-3/4" L x 19" W x 35-3/4" H

I built the cabinet using the Sterilite 2 Shelf Storage Cab. I copied a link below

I just got some 50W led drivers off ebay for $17 a piece. If you go to the beginning of the thread you can see them

These LED buds were on par with any HPS buds I've grown in the past.
