Thanks. The bud density is amazing as well. They are already rock hard at only 35 days. Easily on par with HPS denseness.

Pretty stoked how well this has turned out so far. Should have some top notch meds when all said and done.

Very impressive.
Looks great! LEDs have come a long way since I looked into them years ago.

Edited. Deleted questions after I did a little more reading. Looking good! I think I'm going to do something similar

Hello.

I hope everyone had an alright holiday.

what about reflectors for the cxa Leds?
http://www.ledil.com/lenina

I want to go the diy route for a 2x2, or 2x3 tent and this thread has me really interested in using these Cree leds.

Also, any updates?
thanks.

Well, this should put to rest the need for all the different monochrome diodes:shock:

Just left this comment on YT:

Fantastic Result. My guess is the light has a fair amount of 4000K mixed in to create the 2700K, and that, as can be seen, is a good thing

Thanks everyone. Today officially marks 7 full weeks. I will start my flushing today and chop in 7-10 days. The buds look great and I'll post some updated pics later today.

I have a bunch of reflectors that were sent to me from Khatod for the CXA3050 if you are interested to mess around with.

Here's a link to one of them. I think I have about 3 of each (medium, wide, extra wide beam)

The reflector base holds the chip down and you just twist in the reflector to the base.

BBspills,

Love this thread buddy - you're an inspiration to the rest of us. :)

What distance do you have the emitters from the top of your buds?
Just switched to a 100W cob array in day 35 of flower and want to know what you think would be an ideal height.

I would guess around 5" from the tops, but I'll do a proper measurement this afternoon

I have scheduled the chop for this Sunday (59 days) and will be putting her into full darkness this Friday. She is really feeding off her leaves now, so the flush is going well.

She stinks to all high hell and her aromas are really complex. Really looking forward to how they come out post cure.

Here she is at 54 days

Gonna leave the light as is. Don't really see a point changing anything as these nugs are huge and rock hard and for my application (scrog/mini cab) the light is extremely efficient.

I might make some adjustments to my box to make room for some more space and do 2 plants instead of one and really get some impressive yield numbers.

Great thread and impressive grow.

You are making me supplement a Hans with two CXA3050 instead of going to CFL-route, and perhaps even try hempy buckets instead of soil as first grow.
Hopefully you will yield as much as it looks!
