Maybe add 1 CXA3050 / SF but as previously mentioned you seem dialed in already. Good work.Yeah man thanksthey are solid quality. It's cold here so i thought adding a couple CXA3050's would be a good idea, more productive than adding a 80w heater, which i have powered on during lights out.
so you want to run a couple of these at lights out for heat? or heat the hell out of your plants at lights on? lol you make no sense.Yeah man thanksthey are solid quality. Efficiency should be better when cool. Life time of the electronics (whether it's a driver or the LED itself) will be prolonged. As far as I can tell there is no significant change in overall efficiency from cool to warm but keeping them cool may increase reliability.
Cooler temps may increase the drive current. Some drivers have circuitry to keep the current output fixed but most decrease their output as driver temp rises.
Day 7 of 12/12Hey any updates? I'd like to see the area with two plants! I bet that screen is filling up!
These are freeking bright, just a glance and the image was burnt in retina for a long while. No prob, I'll take one when I get home. The LED's are so friggen bright, that I think I'll have to take it while it's off, but I'll see what it looks like while it's on as well
I accidentally looked at one and a hard time seeing for a good bit.
Mine is a 15W T8 floro. I think I read somewhere that you want to supplement around 10% of UV in comparison to your total light. So if you have 400W of light, then get around 40W of UV.I noticed you said you were also running infrared and UVB lights? What is the wattage of them? I was looking on amazon for some UVB bulbs and found a CFL at 13w and 26w. What did you go with for your area?
Nice choice , I would say after using them, they drain very well already so you might not need the hydroton unless you already purchased some...and water nice and slooowwww lol I learned the hard way the water likes to pout out the sides3 weeks of 12/12 today. I'll post a pic later this afternoon. Also, I upped my lights on time by 30 minutes today and will continue this for two more weeks, which then I'll up it 30 more for 2 more weeks and finally bring it back down to 12 hours the final 2 weeks to ripen them up.
On a side note, I ordered a couple air pots and will be testing them out on my next run. I always like trying new things
For my next grow I am going to try 100% coco in the air pots with a small layer of hydroton on the bottom for better draining (1/2" to 1")
I'll be moving my two c99 clones into the .3 Gallon air pots today and will veg those for a few weeks and will then transplant them to their final 2 gallon air pots for flowering.
I think the size of pots I got should do well for a two plant scrog.
Hopefully the c99 turns out good as I'm only 3 weeks into flowering, but so far so good as this bitch is already pumping out serious resin at this early stage.
