I'm planning on a bit of an endeavor right now... I only have one seed to work with, and I want to create offspring from this single plant alone (it is a feminized autoflower). I understand this could prove to be difficult and I may end up killing one or all of my plants, but I'm mostly doing this for fun and because it's interesting to me.
To lay out the plan:
Would a seed produced by crossing pollen and flowers of the same plant be genetically the same as the kinds of seeds created from stress or genetic hermies? Would I be able to get a "normal" plant from a seed like this?
To lay out the plan:
- Germinate the mother plant, wait 10 days.
- Assuming proper growth (I plan on putting it under 20:4 or even 24:0 in hopes it will be on the larger end in spite of its young age), take two cuttings from the bottom of the plant.
- Attempt to root both plants. Separate them from the mother.
- Use colloidal silver to force one of the plants to produce pollen.
- Allow other clone to start producing seeds.
- End result: "cloned" seeds created from a single plant?
