creating a clone (after flowering) question

1) How bad of an idea is it to clone from a plant that has been flowering for 30 days?

1a) (assuming its a bad idea) Even if I do try to take a clone, is there any chance for it root and then to veg into a new plant?

My other plant which was just starting to veg (which was a clone taken 20 days ago from this same plant which is now flowering), had an unfortunate accident and she lost her life.. I'd rather not start my next plant from seed so I was hoping this would be feasible. Thanks for your help :joint::joint:

its possible dude but the thing about cloning a flowering plant is it will be wanting to flower for the first few weeks while it reverts back to veg....so it had stress from trying to grow roots and added stress as it reverts back to veg....possible but not recommended

I took cuttings from a White Russian lady at 7 weeks. I wasn't gonna clone it, but a coupla buds I stole from the lower branches at 7 weeks really kicked ass. It took those 2 clones 3 weeks to show new growth, but they both did.
