well v to tell ya the truth. i started la diva from delicious. tap root came out then just turned brown and rotted. so i started the auto nl. i even used the tupperware thing you mentioned in your thread with toilet paper ina sock drawer. well i put that seed in it sprouted and i moved it to the soil. never came out. so now i have started snowryder in the tupperware method you mentioned. tail hasn't popped yet. soaked seed in distilled water for a day before this.

any thoughts?

I use those root riot cubes as a starter medium and plant in soil when the taproot breaks through.
If you have none to hand then try to keep the humidity really high. Even with the cubes I cover the seedlings with a ziplock bag for a few days to let them get established.
Hope it turns out ok, those seeds don't come cheap.

yea i was thinking about getting some. i just dont wanna make another trip to the grow shop lol that would be 3 times this month if i go lol. i wonder if i can get them at a lowes or a home depot store. if not hopefully this seed will pop and i will use a plastic bag. thanks for the insight.

CT: SO i have the exact same box and hydro setup besides your light upgrade, Its my first grow , I was wondering why not do 2 plants in the 2 netpots, was there a reason you did just one?

Also when you talk about ppm how do you calculate all that, it may be a dumb question but im clueless with that when I am mixing my nutes how do I measure that?

i did one plant cuz it was more of an experiment. if you grow 2 plants harvest them at the same time if they are both females. not sure i really understand your question maybe re word it?

ok.... i'm going thru my first grow now.... DWC!!! I'm in my 4th week of flowering, i'm using the same simple gallon shoe box container. I'm growing PINEAPPLE CHUNK, VANILLA KUSH & GREEN HOUSE TAI. The first 2 are doing fine and producing buds sites everywhere but the 3rd (ght) is preforming badly..... How do i get rid of it, its roots are intertwined with the other two so i'm confused as to how to get rid of it. Second problem, I've noticed several times ppl saying they change the nutes every week. Well every 2 days the plants suck the reservoir almost empty..... should i just add pH bal. water to fill it back up, or make a new solution batch (1gal W/nutes). I'm using flora nova bloom, floralicious, liquid kool bloom, & pineapple rush. I don't hav a ppm meter just a ph meter..... any help would be appreciated!!! thanks

when i did dwc i would mix up a gallon of nutes and water use it til that gallon was gone then seitch it with a gallon with no nutes. dont feed nutes with everywatering. as faw as getting that other plant out its gunn abe tricky. try pulling em out if not you may hve to cut them but i wouldnt recomend that.
