Crazy trichome production

Here is a pic... I tried getting better shots but my cameras macro sucks. It looks much more intense in person.

dude if those are trichomes then you can smoke that loaf of bread thats been in my pantry for a lil too long...
touch it. if its sticky it might be, but i bet money you smoking that thing is the worst idea ever. the thing is if that was in darkness/humidity, you can be sure thats mold. like positively absolutely.

i wonder why you moved the 2 plants from the sun to the shady part of your yard, why/how you forgot about 2/3rds of your crop. i mean, you had 3 plants. you forgot about 2 of them.

this entire thread just confuses me. if you smoke it and live, i wanna know about the 'high' you felt after and what crazy things you saw while hallucinating.

protip: get your sibling/gf/wife/in-law to smoke some first.

These werent my MAIN/GOOD crop. These were my mess around crop. I just grew these out to experiment on them. I moved the others to the shade because I was going to get rid of them because they were to exposed to neighbors. So I hid them until I was able to get rid of them. I then forgot about them.

Also, I thought it was mold too when I first looked at it. So Being curious as to what mold looks like under the microscope I took a look and they were all trichomes. I am as confused as you all which is why I posted this. I will see if I can borrow my friends USB microscope and take a picture with that to show you guys.

okay I just soaked them in water to see what happens. I know from my regular garden and dealing with powdery mildew before that water kills it. So We shall see.

But I do take what you guys say to heart. You have been growing much longer then me, so I am not going to smoke it just in case. But now I just want to see what happens from wetting it. I took another look under the scope and it just looks like thousands of trich heads filled with milky resin. BUT my scop is only 100X zoom.. Maybe the spores are smaller and I cant see them.

My friends USB scope I think has a 500 zoom on it. I will take a look with that and get some pics up.

Honestly, even though it looks like trichs I think you guys are right, the only thing it could be is mold. So maybe it is hiding somewhere smaller that I cant see with my scope.

I'll keep you posted

one thing though. Shouldn't mildew be all over the plant? When I had it on my tomatoes before it was all over

the vendors of whitewidow seeds (forget exactly who) recommend 2 weeks of darkness before harvest.

so, maybe if you let the buds get big, then into darkness for max trichs.

dunno, seemed always bit extreme to me, makes bit more sense to have at least some light, maybe a fluo or 2. but i could be wrong of course. havent tried it and am gonna wait for someone else to do it :)
2 weeks of 8/16, not total darkness. And most of the WW breeders have added the clone statement from the original statement to their ads. And waiting for pics....saw the pics, thats mold... Maybe Jorge has smoked too much mold over the years, must be why he is painfully lost in the past.......
