Crawlspace grow?

Anyone ever dig out a 2x2 (or whatever size) space in the corner of their crawlspace and put walls up in to hold back the sand and grow in it? Its just an idea I came up with because I need to move my small 2 plant operation somewhere else. Imagine a 2x2 SCROG in a crawlspace corner dug out about 24" deep with a tarp or something for a light barrier, with mylar on the inside and 24x 14watt CFLs for light. Its cool down there, only issue I can think of is humidity but the lights and a fan should take care of that.

What are your thoughts and/or experiences?

I think your dedication to growing medication is commendable. But I also think a small tent with cfl, or T5, or even LED would be a better idea. Just IMHO...

Lol, thx. Issue is inside the house isn't an option, so that leaves the attic or under the house. Either that, or I'll have to wait until outside temps start going down again (sept/oct) and put my grow box back in the shed. I only have 1 grow under my belt and I'm almost out of smoke, so I'm getting kinda desperate.

With that said, I was thinking about it a little more and I could just dump a Couple bags of soil in the hole and won't even needs pots. No transplants, no root binding, and harder to lockout nutes since they can spread through the soil more so than if the plants were in pots. I'm not sure how deep the sand is under my house, but I imagine digging down 24"+ would put me into some decent soil, good enough anyways with the 2 bags of FF soil mixed in and homemade teas added to the equation.

Anyways, still looking for thoughts from experienced growers. You guys see any potential problems that I may have missed with this idea?
