Craigslist Budget Grow

Hello all, I have been lurking long enough! here goes my grow journal. I moved to a state that allows me to grow 36 plants. I purchased a royal winchester vinyl shed 10x8 off craigslist ($100!) 5'9' at the walls, 6'8' at center. And just picked up another inceredible deal on everything else. All used 1 cycle- 2-ochos' , 2-1000watt harvest pro ballast (mh), 5.0 light rail system with hanger (2 lights). complete ebb&gro 2gal (30 pots), Bulbs are mh 115k lumens (red-enhanced), all in one controller ph&temp&nutes... and many misc extras cords, humidity &temp meter etc etc... Gotta love this! $700 cash! Im about to start putting everything together in the shed. Im considering a scrog as I have so many buckets for the space available and I love trimming&messing with plants ( my first ever mmj grow). I was thinking 15 plants in a 4x8 area on each side of the shed, leaving me 2 ft down the middle. The large ochos on the rail will zip perfectly back and forth. Im still considering an Indica strain. I like purple&blue colors. I actually dont smoke (edibles for pain managment, not very often though), I just love the MJ plant. I plan on doing a few lst's wrapping them completly around the bucket, they look awesome! I plan on using the same lights through the entire grow, yield is not a high priority to me as much as quality and esthetics. I will find a good genic clone and make a mother , then use her clones for this grow. Im up for suggestions on my entire plan. Im considering leaving the reservoir outside and heating it, I have heaters for this already. Wondering if I have enough for winter temps (low 10deg.? l) Air scrubbers and charcoal filters are not needed, no one around. Everything is together,,, picking out cuttings for my grow,,,, Im picking two, one for each 4x8 Northern Lights&Sour Diesel and im interested in Lemon Haze but they seem to want more nutes and seem a little bit touchy for a newb grow (awesome strain though) , I will be feeding off the same Rez. so that may be a problem? Other strains I passed up were cherry bomb, Hong King Diesel, dj's blueberry, ak-47,.... will post pics of my room as soon as I figure out how to resize my pics! Paint program doesnt get the job done...

I have my grow room ventilated from my living room (2 X6" insulated flex hose) to my 10x8 vinyl shed (took 2 days to seal the shed, 1 can great stuff and 2 rolls duck tape)... Im about to yank off my outside exhaust from my gas heaters firebox (sitting in living room) , plug the outside and let the co2 flow.... I will need to measure how much is going in and back in my house just to be safe ( I have a carbon scrubber model 66 hooked to a vortex 6' blowing back in my shower.. no towel needed! lol) ,,, its there and its free! when temps get too hot I added a duct temp control box to the outside of the can filter , it opens a motorized honeywell duct vent across from the exhaust filter to let in cool outside air in... I read that 10,000 ppm will give you a headache.... and plants can only handle 20,000ppm before damage occurs.... so im hoping that I get about 2000ppm and I can let my temps climb abit and keep the lights closer to take advantage of the co2......... comments? suggestions?

Help! I just put 15 of my my 1" rockwool cube rooted clones in my hydroton (yea!) rooting another 15.... I dipped the cubes in a mild nute solution (200ppm),,, keeping them about 25grams each... I read somewhere to let them sit in the hydroton for at least 2 days before starting a feeding cycle.ebb&flo.. True? I had a feeding chart I copied for new rooted plants but I cant find it... I have them at 75 degrees and right at 40% humidity... They are under a 1000w mh in ocho xxxl that is 3' 8" away.... not much heat at all, but lots of light!... They seem to have been doing ok the last few hrs.... Kinda afraid to go to sleep... So should I flood them? My ph is 5.8 and rez temp 65... and ppm in rez is 275. about 60ppm was from the tap water. thx Frog

Sounds good frog. Subbing up. I don't know why you wouldn't apply nutes right away after transfer. That doesn't make a while lot of sense to me. The plants will be stressed enough from transfer. If they want to feed then by all means, let them feed.

I wanted to delete this journal... I started an easier to read one with pics... its in my sig,,, I will take a few more pics... I didnt want the plants to get ahead of the other ones and I wqs afraid of nute burn, Like you mentioned,, alot of people under feed scared of burning the plants..
