As far as being bug resistant I havn't noticed any worms eating the buds yet.
Blue mystic, lemon Kush, Jack Herer and Girl Scout seem to be the favorite so far to the worms. As soon as I see some brown bud I know their is a good sized worm in their.
I wished I had a pic of this worm we call Tabacco worm or some call a tomatoe worm. It's green and pretty with a nice little horn on it's head for good measure. They get pretty big like 2" or more and really fat. They can do a lot of damage quickly. Typically you don't see em on Mary Jane but this year I've noticed some.
Grass hoppers are terrible since it's so dry they are coming towards my plants and eating the piss out of em. I usually visit my sites at night and that's when I can catch and squash a good deal of em.

The tobacco horned worms have been thick as LBL ticks this year bro.

We had a private conversation about it last summer. Check out your convos from July 2014.
I see. I hear their is a guy who is in ur town that is all gung-ho in trying to catch people. Crawls around in the Bushes at night with his night vision illegally I might add trying to arrest people. He was involved in that shooting up that car with the girl and baby in my little town.
Of course as a cop they never get in any trouble.

Spineapple plant all messed up

this is spineapple average size colas on it some are bigger and some slightly smaller.

Girl Scout cola. Noticed the sap has partly washed off.

image.jpg image.jpg
This is one of those g13 colas. This is a lower branch cola the tops are much bigger.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Had a big storm come through with a lot of wind and rain and did a lot of damage last night. Spent the morning and afternoon going to my sites and doing what I can.
My bigger plants I can't do anything with at the moment as thy are way to heavy to try and prop up and if you pull the stalk u hear limbs cracking.
Noticed in my headband some mold stsrting inside the colas so looks like no sleep tonight.

Really wish I didn't have to have jobs for insurance reasons and made my living this way and it would be legal so I can use cages so this wouldn't happen. Storm couldn't come at a worse time as most of the most damaged plants are his about ready.

Crazy bro, I'm maybe 20-25 miles from you in a straight line, separated by one county and I only got a light shower here.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg This site here is all Mr Nice Seeds products. I have Devil, Neville's Haze, early skunk, early queen, Ortega, critical skunk, critical mass, NL5 haze, nl5 skunk and others.
I planted this plot with regular seeds and the plants were put in the dirt around 2nd week of June. I didn't want here getting real big so they are only 7-8 ft on most all of em.
I put in 118 plants and got 13 females. Rabbits eat about 30 plants and hail got about 10 and the rest were males. I was bummed out about the vast majority bein males. I spent a lot of time taping up those plants in the middle of the night.

I have another plot I'd show u guys that's impressive but landmarks are noticeable.

I have roughly 200 plants. Prob more. Lol image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I have had a bad week last week in weather. After having a bad storm come through and break some plants and break off limbs off some others I was able to prop up some and salvage the rest. Then for the next 6 days it has been in the upper 50's and low 60's and cloudy. Not a peep of sunshine until today a week later. Went out to some of my sites this weekend and whole colas were covered in mold. Lost roughly 3/4 of my yield in most of my plants. I cut off the colas that were molded and I took down several plants.
Headband, chemdawg, Girl Scout cookies, lemon Kush, blue mystic and some others. Got very little sleep and my new bud trimmer got a work out and it earned every penny. The problem I have now is that I need more of those round screens you put the nugs on to dry. I have several of them and used them all up. Thought about making more of em but with wood and bug screen and make a frame. For em to slid in and out of.
I still was able to harvest several pounds of bud. One of my Girl Scout I hauled out I could hardly carry it it was so heavy this was just the buds I had cut off. Their on site and hauled em out in totes.

This is the amount of bud I got off that one plant. I threw away a lot of it from the mold.

My biggest yielding plant so far would have been my chemdawg. Colas on it are massive but the weather did not cooperate. The G13 is gonna kick everybodies ass this year. Never seen colas like that before. That's if it doesn't mold. :-/ it's still a month away at least the others I cut still had not any amber yet.
I'm thinking about turning my greenhouse lights off so they will go into flower. I put them out a month ago and most of those plants are hip tall now. Was wanting chest tall but I lost a week of growth but ts getting late and I need good sunlight in November to finish these and I've put it off as long as I could.

Thanks texasjack. Girl Scout is not a big yielding plant but does produce some nice nugs to go with the colas. I think the yield on that one plant would be double with all the colas that ruined.
Just one weather event could cause you to lose tens of thousands. It always seems to find me right when the buds get closer to harvest. Lol
I'm thinkig about growing 3 trees next year and making my own pots by using posts and burlap around the edges. Make it as big as I want and of course put it in cages. Maybe put it in the back part of my yard. Lol!!!
The limit in our state is 3 plants from a misdemeanor and felony. I would also make a over head structure to keep rain off. I've already got some inside plants that are a couple feet tall and I could easily let them get up to 8ft when I put them out next April. Put a light on em so they don't go into flower that early. Think I could get some serious poundage doing that. Could keep a close eye on it as well.

Even in my greenhouse I get mold problems due to the humidity. Got fans going 24/7 but the outside air can have humidity levels of 70-80% all week.
I'd love to grow in west Texas. Very dry air and nobody for miles to be poking their nose in my biz. Think I need to move haha

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Some pics of g13 for guys interested. Most all the colas now are the size of 2 liter bottles. One cola is about as big around as a gal jug of milk. The lower branches all have colas a little bigger than small footballs.

G13 top colas

Typical Side branch colas. The ones you see on top are the small colas of branches coming away from the side branches. Very impressive yields from this plant. I did not strip the branches or pinch off bud sites on the inside at all. All the buds that are typical popcorn fluff is nuggets the size of golf balls. Very very little tiny bud. I took half her down yesterday even though she needed another week or 2. Had a hard freeze last night and am curious as to how she took it. I had 4 plants get fried the night before from frost. I'm just gonna chunk em.
Gonna go back tonight and grab the other half of the plant. So a long night is a head of me.

NL5 Skunk from seed 1st of July. Nice yielding plant for how big she got and where she was planted. Got 10.6 zips off her and her sister had 8.4. Only fed 2x
image.jpg

Had a critical skunk plant I wish I had taken a clone from. This plant was the most stinkiest skunk smelling plant I have smelled. I had people comment about a skunk in the area and we were about 1/4 mile from it. Wind blow just right and it was heaven in the air.
For those that never grown it critical skunk is a very nice yielding plant that can pack on pounds like critical mass (also have that again this yr). Nice smoke and taste and it's kinda smelly but this pheno was a special one for about 2 weeks until I cut her.
I had one called Devil that didn't do too hot. Only got 1/2 a zip off her.got some more that's not even close like my Neville's Haze.
A surprise to me so far has been my Iced Grapefruit by female seeds. Very grape smelling plant and it can yield very good. It will supersize you. Was not my biggest plant and not in the best location but looks like she's gonna be my 2nd best yielder.
This g13 though is gonna be triple the yield of anything I got. This is by far the best producing plant I've grown and I've grown just about every thing that's supposed to yield well in the past.

Thank you for having the balls to post your amazing grow!

I grow out here in CO where I don't have to worry about anything but rippers and bugs. I once did grow a guerilla in Tennessee that I never had the courage to harvest... So, your commercial sized grow is awe inspiring to me.

Sorry about your bad luck this season, at least you still have the remaining, unmolded harvest!

Was the critical skunk you were referring to from MNS stock?

Smoke it up and get back to work! :blsmoke:
