Couple of noob questions

Ok so this is split into two questions.

1. is regarding a plant I have had in flowering for a couple of months now. It came to me as a sickly abused plant and I managed to nurse it away from the brink but its still and ugly scraggly thing... smells amazing though. I can not say what strain it is, the previous owner told me it is a genetic line he had been cross breeding for about 3 years, so all I can tell you is that it is a hybrid strain. Anyway I was looking at the plant yesterday and most of the pistils are an orangish color now and the resin stalks are all milky white. Do you guys think I should give it more time to swell or should I just pull and cure now?

Before anyone says anything about the color of the cabinet. I know, its temporary. and also before anyone says anything about the state of the sugar leaves please remember this plant came to me in flower and in terrible shape.

2. Ok so When I started growing my own plants I did half in soil and half in deep culture dutch buckets. The ones that I put into dutch buckets have turned into these massive uncontrollable monsters and Ive come across a problem that I never anticipated, and have no idea what to do about it. My flowering light is at its absolute max height and this plant is now pushing the light UP.....What the hell do I do about this?

Strain: Diamond OG
Height: about 6 feet
Flowering stage: about 4 days

Thoughts? advice?

I would have to chop about a foot off the top to get the proper distance, that would have be going a couple of nodes down from the top, will that work ok?

It will stress it especially if it's in flower look into lst and try to just bend it over that's what I would do

ya, you dont want to cut it now. tie it down to the lid. You should be able to make a nice flat bush only like 8" tall. or make a little scrog net to get it low, same effect

Ok I think I will go with supercropping. LST really isnt going to be doable on that plant because its sitting high in the grow rock and its so big and unstable that I could just imagine the root ball tearing off, and then ill be tearing my hair out.

Supercropping it is, thanks guys
