Counting Flowering Time

Hi Guys,

I cant seem to get a straight answer and this post will likely cause a fight.

When do you start counting the weeks of flowering:

A) From the flip to 12 - 12
B) When you see Pistils

I ask this because i count from First Pistils.
I usually run 12 - 12 for 1 - 2 weeks before i see pistils.

But ive seen other people who count from flip to 12 - 12

Lets see if i can get a real answer today... Maybe someone from a seedbank can clear this up for us?

I have my popcorn ready. Its only a matter of time until the insults start flying here... LOL

I have been doing a lot of reading on this and it seems like it doesn't really matter as long as you're patient. I like the concept of counting once you see budlets because from there you have a sort of decent estimate of doneness based on what your seed bank recommends. I wrote down both in my calendar. I'd like to see what people got in terms of flower time if they veg a lot longer before flip or not...

I also mark both in my calendar actually.
Time from flip + X weeks
Time from Pistils + X Weeks

Once i get to the first date i start checking Trichs more often.
Obviously its done when its done and each plant will actually be a little different.
