Yes. I have a loupe (30X) and i've been checking every day now. Hard to tell, can't get my phone to take good pics through magnifier to get a opinion from the board :(.
Guess i'll keep trying to get that ONE shot that enlightens me ;)

You can get a cheap digital microscope you can use with a phone or laptop for $20-30 and see your trichoms like the pictures on the left.

I lost patience and with wishful thinking imagined my trichomes were milky and just turning Amber (used small handheld microscope). As you can guess they weren’t. The weeks were right according to the Breeder so I figured my eyes were right.

I digress. Lost the whole crop. It was early, speedy and lacked the weight it would have had. I have a friend who loves it like this. Gave him 10+ cured jars. He’s happy and I’m still shopping at the overpriced dispensary where I get beat up overpriced and taxed weed

Second grow won’t go like that for me. Lesson learned.

Your 30X loupe likely isn't. Probably closer to 10X. Buy a scope or a phone scope. Go solely by trichome. Most experienced will tell you we've had 7-8 week (breeder claim) strains go 10 easy. To get prime bud at the right stage of THC content.

I ahve 2 NL which are closing i to harvest time.
They have about 50-55 days flowering time according to breeder.

I'm at day 43 from 12/12, and the buds seems to be fattening up now. What do you guys think? My first ever grow.

Nice 1st grow!! Good job! Def w Steve on them lookin very sativa heavy! Not a bad thing, tho... im jealous

Yes, i'm happy so far with it. I have had big issues with heat this summer but now it's getting a little cooler outside. I think they had coped the heat. Will post some pics when i'm closing in for harvest (pretty sure i would need some opinons if they are ready ).
