Could Use Some Pointers...

I have 6 plants growing in a basic DWC using Two 1Gallon totes with a 4" airstone in each.
I'm using GH nutes and they are currently feeding on 1/4 strength.
Temps run from 70-85 with some DIY CO2 added to the canopy fan for enrichment.
Currently they are being powered by one 85w 6500k CFL with two 23w 2700k's added for a full spectrum. The main bulb is in the center about 1" off the ground with all the plants being within 3 horizontal inches of the bulb.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what appears to be wrong with some of them? They seem all droopy like they are over watered but how could that be with a DWC? Is it from the light starting on the ground making the plants not want to grow upwards? Simple heat stress with no burning?? Defiantly could use some help... :P

Pic one you can see the lower leaves curl down the middle and droop down.
Pic two the plant was even worse, they all were, but still has quite curled leaves...
Pic three just has really droopy leaves unlike
Pic five was doing bad but has seemed to have made a good recovery, still has something going on with the leaves in the back...
Pic four is the set up, any advise on that is appreciated also!

They don't look to bad what are PH & ppm readings. How long have they been in that unit? were they started in it or were they transferred in? and how long ago?

They look good, you should try to angle your big light horizontally. It'll increase your lumens by a lot!

They were transferred in about 2 weeks ago.
PH stays within 5-6
No PPm meter but im using distilled water for everything if that helps
And they are actually picking up quite well now that i added the canopy fan and CO2... thinking its mostly the fan though.
plant3 has grown a strong inch since the post..

If you were measuring 85 in one location it may have been higher yet in others. I think you had some heat stress.

Thats what I was thinking, Its a dual temp reader so, temp of where the actual meter is and another reading for the probe thats right next to one of the plants. It did say it reached 90 one night and I woke up to find my fan off... SO yes it was probably just heat stress. honestly though Im impressed with the CO2 coming from this 1L bottle I think its really makin the difference. Temps haven't changed much at all, still making out at 85, but the plants look like the heat doesn't effect them anymore...

And I figured having the light would help maximize its coverage area because plants get top to bottom penetration until they exceed the height of the light, THEN start raising it... defiantly could be wrong though.

I would say that if your plants are suffering from over-watering in a dwc system that they must not be geeting enough oxygen to the roots. Perhaps your pump isn't powerful enough to run two reservoirs? This is just a guess but common sense tells me that this would happen and they do look like they are a little droopy and oversaturated. I have a 55 gallon aquarium pump and when I hook up only 1 side up to my terrarium humidifier which holds like 1/2 a gallon of water it doesn't even bubble, but when I hook up both air hoses to the humidifier it bubbles really well. I don't think you can really go wrong adding some more oxygen to your water.

They do look very healthy though do you have any fans for air movement? I also recently read that even distilled water must be ph adjusted before applying. Anyways +rep for the setup...I plan on trying dwc soon I hope it goes as well for me.

Hey man thanks. I was thinking about picking up a better pump in a week or two... probably will be making it this Friday now =D. And there is a 120mm 70cfm pc fan blowing on the leaves. They are actually picking up really hard now though! its only been a few days but jeez the plants in pic one and three have EXPLODED since I added the fan and CO2.
