Could this custom grow tent be the problem?

Grow tent is built with panda film and PVC conduit. The PVC is painted with white primer and white gloss spray paint. Read that PVC could be harmful to plants. Is this true? Has anyone used PVC before?

5 Big Bud and 1 white widow growing under a 400 Watt in FF Ocean Forest. Pots are 12 inches wide and 11 inches tall. Widow is 3 weeks old and Big Bud is 2 weeks old. Noticed that the edges of the leaves are curling up. Temp is 65F lights off and 78F lights on. PH is 6.5 and light is 2 feet away from plants. Fed them nutes for the first time yesterday. Any ideas what could be the problem???????

yes the big one is white widow. it's 5 inches tall and 1 foot wide. is this a good size for a 3 week old plant? Well they are in 5 gallon pots and I don't think its overwatering because the leaves were doing the same thing before i transplanted them into the bigger pots.

agreed, over-watering could be the issue (raise your plants off the ground to aid in drainage)
look into zinc deficiencies (symptoms: yellowed veins...withering of leaves)...still to early to tell definitively

And no PVC doesn't damage weed...i've grown in greenhouses "ribbed" with PVC pipe with no problems, though make sure no moisture and mold is growing in the pipes.

Maybe the paint / gloss is toxic??

I think you might be right about the zinc deficiencies. The veins are yellowed. I hope the FF nutes I gave them will help. Won't water until 1 week or week and 1/2.

Thanks HighPotency for the much needed info on the PVC. I'm relieved knowing that my veg and flower room will be ok for growing!!!
I hope it's not the paint!!! That would suck!!

Could it be humidity? It varies between 26% to 55%.

for growing weed that humidity is fine....
Optimal is a relative humidity of 40-60%

paints/glosses aren't normally put under that kinda humidity and heat though and it seems that they are chipping at the elbow joints maybe put on some electrical tape around the joints to prevent it spreading all the way up?

the best course of action is to treat your plants with a fertilizer with zinc for a couple cycles (the really commercial stuff works well)...and see what happens
