74-78.6f is the optimal range for cannabis...temps higher than 79 will force the plant to close stomata and focus energy to plant processes other than bud production.......

CO2 used at appropriate levels will keep stomata open allowing plants to "breathe" at higher temps and, according to many growers produce more abundantly....

I don't use CO2 at this time as temperature control is not an issue for me.....it will be added down the road in order to increase yield once all other conditions have been perfected. I don't consider it necessary unless it is impossible to maintain the optimal temperature range.:blsmoke:

I have read that co2 is not used during the flowering cycle, only in veg. The reason i bring it up is because it does not make sense to me to not use it during flowering.

actually the reverse is true. higher temps. is what causes the stomata to open wider, not the increase in available co2. think of the stomata as pores, like we have. and flowering is when you want to use it, unless you have a sealed room. then you'll need to run it in veg too.

I run it at up to 85 during veg and early flower, then I bring the temps down to 76-78 for the rest of flowering. Keep in mind thc degrades starting at about 85 degrees.
