Could I use cfl's for a big grow?

Hey guys,
I was looking to build some what of big grow room in my house. The dimension would be ruffly 10' long by 8' wide and 10 feet' high. Now for the question: I have 5 ceiling lights that I got off a buddy, they hold 3 4' 55 watts tubes each (see lower link for pic). Could I use them with my 250 watts mh light and ballast to grow 30 plants to say 7-8' feet or will they not have enough lights?

Need much more light imo.. Maybe 2+ 1000 watt HID's? not terribly knowledgable with CFL's just seems like there is no way it would be enough light..

Those are not CFLs they are just fluros.

I'm don't know much about big grows but I'm fairly certain you are asking a lot for any indoor light grow.

Yeah I dont know much about huge grows either but you will need a lot more watts to produce anything close to 30 7 footers lol.. Didn't even notice the pic at bottom Z_Z I was lookin for it

there are several DIY videos out there about how to make grow lights out of CFL's for entire shelves and rooms. you cant just hang one in a room. you have to have several under a reflective hood.
