Could I get 2 lbs?

Far from my first grow, had about 6 successful harvests. Just first one with a 1k. I was running lemon skunk in the past. 2 plants 600w in a 6.5x6.5 tent and was pulling 12 oz. I'm very confident in my skills. Just wasn't sure how likely it would be from seed. Apparently I'll have to do a few runs to get my 3 good mothers and improve from there. And all my grows have been dwc so I'm well aware of what I'm doing and getting into. My issue now is that (I'm just starting up again after a 2.5 year break, so a little rusty.) But also this time I don't have a veg room set up for a constant harvest, that comes later. So for the time being it's a harvest every 3-4 months so I'd prefer a bigger one to get me by completely.
Try topping after the 2nd node...train the bonsai style plant with tie downs...now each bucket has 16 mains x 3 buckets.

48 heads @ 10 grams

Thanks for the couple replys. I'll definitely keep a journal going once it's all up and going. Planning to get the last of the room set up by wed. germing the seeds right after that, that way I can run the room a few days plant free to see what the environment will be like

Yeah I was planning on doing lst once I flipped them to flower. Fimming at the 4th node or so. Yes I'm doing them in 18 gallon totes at the moment. (Due to having to spend 1600 so far to make the room and equipment I've been running a bit closer to my limit of 2000 for the initial set up. Improvements come later of course) :)
Figured first run with seeds I'll grow them out, clone them, find the best finisher of each strain (I plan to make 2 runs in order to really select the 3 perfect mothers) so my 3rd round I can be more perfect with the strains. Then I'll start running in 5 gallon pots (used to do that way and loved it, more work having to water everyone seperate but much better quality

The best light for the veg room I think are the T-5 panel light.$135.00 4 footer.

I was looking at those! I have the same room but flipped that is still part of the same sealed area, so I have 2 6x4ish areas. Definitely want to get a veg room back up and running. Can't really do a mh I think cause of heat

I pulled 21 zips from 5 plants in a 4x4 in soil with two kind l600s leds which are far from the best leds to use so id say its possible but depends on a lot of factors. Ive never grown with hps but plant traing topping and lst is what has helped me yoeld with below average lights

2 pounds shit why not now pending on training and canopy management n most importantly veg time many people would be surprised what they might pull
if your skilled grower 2 1/4 - 3 pounds should come easy with 1 k and decent veg time

Ya my main concern is the amount of space I have, or lack of. I know it's going to be crowded with 6ft tall finishers in there all tied down.
But since there's so many negative people here that seem to think I won't just because I have to ask...
I do have the experience and the skill to do it, no doubt since I pulled 3/4 off 2 plants on my very first grow with a 600w...so time to just get down to it and show you all. I'll throw up a journal as it goes

as you set up your DWC system, will you please share that too? subbed to your thread (if you make a journal, please link it in here).

i wouldn't take it personally; you have no idea how many newbies show up on this board - no green thumb, haven't even grown a philodendron before - and want to know if they will yield a pound in ten weeks and about how many CFLs would that take... you'll find there will be a lot of RIU members pulling for you to meet your harvest goal as time goes by and you show what you can do. bongsmilie

Well Ty :) yeah I can understand that lol. I've only done about 8 harvests or so and never under a 1k so was just looking for a bit of advice coming back after a 2 and a half year break.
Starting my set up on the room now actually. Just got it painted over the weekend and now needs door, trim and equipment :) super excited and ready to get rolling!!

Looking forward to the help and advice as we go. Thanks to everyone in advance :)

It's quite possible to harvest a lot more than that. Shoot for 3 and if you get over 1 you're starting off pretty good IMO but you know there's tonnes of room to improve.

Somewhat genetic limited of course. Although the more plants the more yield... I've heard of sick yields from guys putting hundreds of tiny plants under a single 1000, but that's a lot of jail time in most places.

Ya genetics is gonna take a few runs to get the best ones. And this one won't be as good as my future ones I feel due to the way I'm doing it. Normally I use 5 gallon black buckets. $3 each but my local hardware store discontinued them. So instead of $10 a bucket online for black I'm just running 2 per 18 gallon tote. I'll post pix later

K so here's some update photos finally. Thanks to work and a busy schedule it took a little longer than planned. And now I'm just waiting on this adapter so I can plug in my light and get rolling.

And temp/hum with fans going but no light. Not sure if I'll need an ac or not. Most likely need a dehumidifier at the least
