Your growing out doors but didnt say what part of the country. That will have a big effect on if you will even be able to finish it before it gets to cold. If it is a sativa as it looks to be it will take about 10-13 weeks of less than 12 hours light to finish. That could take it to late october or even early november. Another thing to think about is that if it is in a 1gal pot that will really hinder your growth outdoors. As a sativa it will want to be a large plant some even grow up to 20 feet tall. now i wouldnt reccomend you grow it that big but still it will be big and even a small indica in a 1gal pot needs to be watered every day. I would put it in a 5gal bucket. Hell they even have camo ones so you can still hide it. Then tie it down so it wont get tall but long. Then you will get more light to the lower parts of the plant and thats always good. Ok heres the real kick in the ass most people dont think about. As the weather turns cooler and we get into fall the surround plants will very likely lose the green color but your plant will keep its green much longer so it really stands out. With the helicopters in the area it will stick out like a sore thumb. You may want to find another location before it gets to big to move. Also think long and hard about if its worth it. When all is said and done you will be lucky to get a good ounce or two from this one. It could be a great learning experience but dont expect to much.
