Coty leaves not forming??

Not so much an issue, if it is I hope to correct it, just a wondering sort of think. Please excuse my medicated speak... blaaa blurp dointp. Um, kidding.... I've had seeds of all kinds of plants do this. Show a good taproot when pre-germinated but when planted fail for form. Some just never come up. Some break soil but then never form true leaves.

My vote is mostly on that specific seed being inferior in some way. If numerous seeds are planted I find quite a few that do this. They just peter out after breaking soil. The other plants do just fine and are taken care of the exact same way. Just curious if people have dedicated time into this shit. Would be cool to know kind of stuff.

Pre-germinating in a paper towel or something like that and then transfering to a soil medium can be stressful and is unnecessary. Cannabis germinates very well in regular potting soil. Poor seeds could also be the problem. Excessive water/very damp soil will cause a host of problems from fungi and is a common mistake.

Pre-germinating seed is the only real way to know you are putting viable seed into your growing medium. With MJ seeds being expensive as shit it's not fiscally feasible to plant numerous seeds with the intent to thin back to the strongest plant. My wife runs a seasonal salsa business supplying specialty homemade salsa to a couple local resteraunts. All from home grown, organic, non-gmo heirloom seed. I used to start 4 seeds and thin back to the strongest. Then I switched to pre-germing all of my seed. My seeds failure rates are about exactly the same. What I am saving is a buttload of seeds I would have eventually had to thin out and destroy. It also saves me time not having to go in 10-14 days after the initial planting and re-seeding to fill in gaps in the garden. Now if pre-germed seeds don't come up them I start looking for potential problems. Whereas if you just planted seeds hoping some sprout. You don't know for certain if the ones that don't come up were just bunk seed or if there is another issue.

I don't know anyone that would plant multiple cannabis seeds in soil and then thin them out. That would be fucking retarded. It doesn't seem like you really want any input on this issue, maybe you just want to tell people what you do. There are too many assumptions in your post for me to waste anymore of my time on this.
