Cotton candy

I recently harvested my cotton candy and it just wasn't right, when it dried it was a darker green with little tricomb production. Now normally I would think it was a problem with the mothers but I gave a few clones from same mother and his havest was light green and sticky with tricombs. I can't for the life of me figure it out any advise?

Study up on the curing process. Make sure you dont dry the bud too fast. I always let it dry with some of the fan leaves and all of the sugar leaves on. Then when they are being close to dry, trim and throw them in jars and burp em to dry them slower in jars. What were your conditions like in your room?
