The girls are starting to bud up, getting to the fun part. Thought I'd take some pics and take any advice anyone may want to give.

Like the title says, Cotton Candy, The Holy Grail Kush, Critical Jack, and Crimea Blue in day 27 of flower. Under 600w HPS, in soil, with a little LST as well.

They're getting nice and frosty, looking pretty good. Really stoked for the Cotton Candy, very vigorous strong plant. The Holy Grail Kush stretched worse than I was expecting, but she should put out some good bud.

Let me know if you have any advice, tips, or comments. Thanks for stoppin by.

Thanks man! I can definitely say that the Holy Grail gave me the most problems by far, a bitch for sure. Plus its stretchy and won't yield much by the looks of it. I expect it'll make up for it in quality. Judging by that pic I think it will, looks good dude!

Nice pictures. I have pictures of my holy grail kush my daughter has not sent to me. That strain was a joy to grow. No major hiccups. Amazing frost. The smell is sublime. I got the phenotype leaning to the og#18. Have not tried it yet because I just cycled it two days ago. The last two weeks in flowering it packed on the weight. I anticipate an acceptable yield of around 1.25 ounces with a 25 day vegetation period. The buds are gorgeous and smells great. Love that acrid sour smell to it. Too bad I didnt make that strain a run. I only did one plant.

Sounds like she went easier on you haha. Idk out of the 4 plants I'm growing right now, the holy grail was the only one that caused any problems. Nothing serious, just picky about stuff. The stretch kinda sucks, but by your description it should be some good smoke. I'm excited to see how it turns out. I think I should pull 2 zips or more from her. I usually pull 3-6 oz per plant, but oh well its not all about the yield anyway.

Thanks guy!

So I found a few bananas on the cotton candy, which pisses me off cause I'm most excited about it out of the 4. I've got her quarantined for now. I pulled off all the naners I could find with tweezers. Shes coming up on week 5 so I think its a genetic thing.

Guess I'll have to finish her by herself under the 600w, and put the other 3 in the tent under a 1000w. Oh well, cause that will boost yields pretty significantly. I wasn't expecting to buy a 1000w ballast today, but oh well, I've been wanting to upgrade anyways.

Now I can a 600w veg room, and the 1000w in the tent for flowering, whoot whoot.

Damn, frosty and lime green, can't ask for much more! Mine is starting to beef up pretty good. I'll do another update here in a week or two once they really start to fatten up. They're at week 5 right now, so I'm gettin there.

dude your an awesome grower, was your first grow good because your experience with other plants?
Thanks for real man, that means a lot, botany is my life. Actually that first grow is what really spurred me into the whole world of growing. Bud led to bonsai, and bonsai led to just gardening in general, and now I do it for a living.

For real though it was a combination of beginners luck, hours upon hours upon hours of research, and also choosing an easy growing strain. Once you realize that marijuana is just a plant like any other plant, and you start to treat it that way, it seems to get easier, even though MJ can be a picky bitch.

This thread is actually pretty old, I am harvesting all these plants this weekend. I think I will go take some pics and do an update now. Thanks for reminding me!
