If you like astrophysics, philosophy....The new Cosmos, a re-do of the old Carl Sagan Cosmos series. Neil deGrasse Tyson is the man this time. This is good, watch it

Just got done watching it. Had some slow parts but overall a good watch. Is this gonna be an ongoing show or was it a one time special?

It was so fucking awesome! I've been looking forward to it since I heard Neil was going to be doing it. Best television I've seen in a long long time.

I will say I was a little worried in the beginning of the show when they first got on the "space ship of imagination". Some of the glaring off the ship I found to be annoying, but I understand showing off their effects chops. I'm glad it got so good, it's written down on my calender everyweek as a reminder to watch.

Yeah, there are a couple cartoons that at first annoyed me but, they were well done and it wasn't constant...I've learned over the years that the younger gen needs more lengthy visual.

And thats the market or else it dies here

I had the same thought about it. I may get a chance to see Neil talk in the next 18 months. One of the colleges in the area are working on it I'm told.

Just finished watching it and it was awesome, I loved the series with Carl Sagan when it came out back then, even have the whole series on VCR, it's going to be a series, always liked Neil Tyson, he had some good series also abt science I believe.
