Correlation Between TV Shows and Personality?

I've noticed a difference in TV shows watched by people with different personalities. I'm pretty chill and watch a lot of Nat. Geo., History, and Discovery; mainly informational type shows. My girlfriend is very dramatic about things. She gets upset pretty easily and lets things get to her. She prefers to watch shows with a lot of drama in them and can't stand the shows I watch.

Anyone else notice a correlation between the two?

I definatly agree here. I am the same I like informational shows as well as comedy but my wife is the same as yours and she loves to watch shit like The Hills.
