Correct screw/nut for HLG QB 120 v2 Boards

Yes it is a stupid question I know, but what size screws/nuts fit best into the holes of these boards?

I'm sure it's no big deal if they're a bit smaller, but I figured I'd ask in case anybody knew because I would rather fit the correct size into the hole just cuz of OCD.

If the holes are the same size as a qb132, then up to an M4 will fit (in metric), though I don't have an M5 to try. An #8-32 machine screw is just barely too big. And using a caliper I'm getting about 4mm, but I duno about that 'cause it's pretty small to get the caliper tips into.

Hope that helps.

I'll be using M4's I think.

Yeah when I measure it's diameter with a tape measure it's 5mm but I don't trust the accuracy of that so wanted to ask.
I will try M4 thanks.
Yea, my ruler was somewhere between 4 and 5mm, haha. I checked with an M4 x 8mm screw that came with qb96 boards and it fits well, just enough space left. Just double checked. So unless the qb120 is different hole size you should be set with M4.

No prob.

Of course my hardware store doesn't have metric denoted screws (in CANADA no less).

These 3/16" looked close enough (and now that I have a PC I can do the conversion on that is like 4.75mm).

What I find mildly amusing is that they are Robertson bitted screws with imperial measurement lol. For those that don't know Robertson is a square bit that was made in Canada and that AFAIK almost no other place in the world uses Robertson screws/drivers. It's also way better then Phillips or Flat head because you can't strip the screw head or slip because it bites into the screwhead, but that's just my $0.02.

Such a truly pointless thread lol but got the bolts figured out!

I duno if that'll fit. I think the M4 diameter is 4mm (max), and they just fit the holes perfectly. So 4.75mm sounds too big. When I measured an M4 earlier it was around 3.91mm or something...

edit: 3.91mm
