hi im currently waiting to harvest and planning my next adventure. for the past 2 grows ive been growing 98 plants divided by 2 4x4 tables (49 ea table ) in 6inch altezza pots finishing at 17- 20 inches . FUCK this , way too much work, so im looking to grow larger plants and reduce plants . how many plants should i go with for each table? id like them to finish at 3 to 3.5 feet max using a 1000w per table , im also thinking of using my 8 inch altezza pots for this . so far im thinking 16 plants per table . plz any thoughts
??:joint: p.s id like to get 1 lb/table. the pic is my last grow

:joint:Try 16 plants with about 15" veg (one gallon pot)
25 plants with about 10" to 12" veg (one gallon pot)
36 plants with about 6" to 8" veg (6" square pots)
16 is less labor intense for me, but smaller harvest about 1p. 36 plants a little more labor intensive, But my biggest yielder about 1.5p. 25 is about middle of the road for yield and labor. Other people might disagree with me, but I have had the same strain running for over two years with the same growing cond. This is just what works for me. sometimes I do run 16 to have a easier grow. hope this gives you some help. Give your girls lots of love, and they will give it back. Good luck to your grow.

try one per square foot. 16 per table. Get 6' pots.

I go with about ten per 4x4 myself.

Those plants looke very nice, looks like you will get a good yield out of that!! Yes, more plants = more emitters = more work!

if you want 3 ft plants you should give them atleast 1 square foot each, that comes out to 16 on a 4x4 but you may want to go even less for ease of maintenance

Veg 36 to 40 plants for a month, and keep the best 32 plants (16 per tray), top and prune the lower branches of each plant before flowering, leaving 2 or 4 branches on each plant. That way you will have as many colas as you do have now (with your existing grow). One plant per square foot.
For a extra months vegging, you'll have less plants, a little less maintanence and around the same yeild.

how deep is your table, 3,4 or 6 inchs deep and how deep is your overflow fitting from the bottom of the pot. Personally I use 6 inch pots in a 6 inch deep table with 4 inch overflow fitting. I dont have to hand water them from the start but like you I am growing 24 plants in a 3x3 which is alot.

:joint:Just try 25 plants first. Remember sea of green is about shorter plants. If they get too tall, the lower buds dont develop right. If you just did 49 than 25 will be easy. If you really wany to get a big harvest read heath james vertical grow in this site. Use a 1k light and get almost 4 pounds per harvest. I have four of these systems. Almost 8 pounds a month. I have almost 20 years of growing under the fat ol' belt, and this vert stuff is the wave of the future. You can always sell your trays on ebay, But keep one for your clones. Hint, read heath james vert grow and al b fuct get a pound every two weeks, and combine the two. I did and using less power and getting more yield. Happy growing.

If you have a veg room, you could veg 20 plants every month, top and prune the lower branches of the best 16 plants before switching to flowering cycle (leaving the best 4 or 6 good branches for colas in one foot square).
You could have a harvest of 16 plants every month.
