correct me if im wrong.

i have a plan for my next grow so correct me if im wrong on my plan. i have a 4'x2'x5.5'tall grow room. im going to have a 400 watt hps with a mh conversion bulb. im going to buy 10 white rhino seeds. growing only 2 at a time. when there big enough to take the first clone im gonna take it veg it for a while and then flower it to see if its female if it is i know my original plant is female if they are then i will grow them about 3'6" tall (i want to veg as tall as possible my grow room is only 5'6 can i veg taller?) then flower. would hoping for a half pound each be expecting to high? i still can figure out what nutes to pick up can anyone help, i just need a couple names of stuff to pick up cause i dont know what stuff means in the sub labels? thanks

One tip i can give you is that if your growing only 2 plants and your vegging for a long time to get big plants and you dont know the sex what will you do if they both turn out to be male after you have vegged for 3 months?
That sucks never only grow 2 plants do at least 6 if not all 10 unless they are feminized seeds never grow only 2,as they may die or be male.

After 4 weeks of veg switch to a 12/12 cycle to check the sex of your plants as soon as they show their sex switch it back to 24/0 and remove any males.
Youd be better of with 4 or 5 medium plants than 2 big ones as you then have 5 plants to play with instead of 2 in case of bad luck.

Unless you have bought fem seeds the whole 10 could even be male all though this is unlikely it is likely for you only to have 4-6 females out of 10 seeds.

i didnt think of revegging i was gonna flower a clone off each plant to find the sex but that sounds easier. i might start 4 at a time and reveg. im also on the fence on what strain to get i want something that will make me feel like im floating, some of the strongest stuff i can get but i want something with a fruit tast any ideas or is white rhino what i want?

Make sure you start germination in tepid water. Warm water may kill the seed. Cold water probably germinate a higher percentage of males. Water ph has an effect as well. Make sure the germination ph is 6.0 or a little lower. Also make sure the water has set out for 48 hours to vent off the chlorine.

And yes, 2lbs is expecting WAAAY to much from 2 plants that small from a beginner. Aim for something like 2 oz for both of them, maybe 2oz each. You wont see a near a pound though, sorry.

i said only a half pound but i was pretty screw up last night im aiming more to a quarter pound each. its not really expecting just Hoping. i cant wait to get this grow started, my coming to the end of my first grow in a few days and with all bad equipment i think i did pretty good.

I have alawys been confused about this cloning thing. I read it and all it did was confuse me, so I didn't clone when I should have until a friend straigthend me out. Here's how it works. Don't worry about cloning until you have some plants that are the height you want for switching them to flowering. This can vary, keep in mind they will at least double and maybe triple their height when you switch them so plan accordingly. When you switch them you will want to trim off the bottom 1/3 of the plant. The light won't penetrate that far down and it gives you better air flow. Take at least two clones from each plant, make sure you mark which plant they came from. Two weeks after putting them in flowering trim the bottom 1/3 again, taking at least two clones again. About two weeks after that your original plants will show signs of sex. Get rid of all the males and the clones of the males. Once you put them in flowering you leave them there. Less stress happier plants, less confusion.
Lets say you followed the advice you recieved and put all 10 whatever seeds in and you meet the law of averages 1/2 male, 1/2 female. Approximately four weeks after inducing flowering you would have the original 5 flowering females and 20 known female clones that are two weeks and four weeks old, close to the same age genetically.
I used this method to go from 20 plants to 80 in a matter of a month. Now I only need one good clone from each plant. VV

DO NOT I REPEAT do NOT reveg your plant..... It will start growing some retarted leafs and will take forever to start vegging again...

so if you want to do it right take the clones and sex them and keep the rest in veg......

some strains double or even triple during flowering...so vegging to 3' 6" may be a bit to long.

i dont want to have a retarded leafed plant lol so i wont reveg. i dont want to grow a plant big and find out its male so i will sex a clone, i will only have a 400 watt so i can only have 4 plants at one time.


and suggestions ons what strain im looking for, something easy to grow with a high yeild but potency is extremely important so yeild isnt as much of a big deal.
