google plant bleaching from light

There is a such thing as to much light
So what is too many lumens? Is there a ratio for how close a light is to the amount of lumens the light puts out? As far as i'm concerned, any amount of 1000w MH/HPS bulbs in hooded reflectors with digital ballasts side by side the better, you just have to worry about the heat. Is this train of thought wrong:?: Besides lighting that can't be bought at you're your local grow store, I don't think light bleaching the plants is possible from my experience.

Within the context of this post what I said was correct Riddle. I have never seen a plant get heat stress using CFL's. Have you? Maybe I am wrong. Maybe you can get heat stress from bumping your CFL's from 2700k to 6500k. Maybe your right.
Krazy, in my opinion you would be ok bumping up to 6500k. It will increase your yield and your not going to get heat stress. In fact I would place one of them bulbs within 1/4 of an inch from the top of your plant. Don't let it touch the leaves though! If you are placing them this close you will have to watch them carefully and probably adjust it every day if not twice a day but your plants will love you for it !

alrite I changed my bulbs around a bit I got

4 CFL 5500k 27W (100equiv)
2 CFL 2700k 65W (300equiv)

Would this carry me threw the veg ? and for flowering I would swap the 4 CFL 5500k to 2700k.

Also Im trying to maintain 2 plants

feed back please
