Correct dry off percentage for Coco?

I'm switching from RDWC to DTW Coco for scalabilty reasons. Is there a general rule of thumb for coco Water Content % before water. Anyone have any papers on it or search terms I can look for. Not sure what ther terminology is for it since in DWC tthey just sit in the water.

Not looking for "lift the pot/when the top is dry" type stuff.

Holy shit! That's expensive!
Mine cost less than $20.
 
Starting seeds in coco you want to be watering less often, like all seeds in a medium the roots don't want to be in moisture without oxygen too long.
Once you have a good root system you can water it as often as you like. It doesn't need to dry out. It holds more oxygen than soil so depletes slower. Adding more water until 20% run off keeps the oxygen content reasonable and draws more oxygen to the root zone as the run off leaves the pots.
Some people water every other day, some people water a few times a day and some people have a constant drip feed.
I think its personal preference rather than a strict rule of which is better.
 
Daily or per plant size and rate of consumption as stated above. Bump ec up from rdwc specs for me it was from 1.2 to 2.0 ec to get similar results in my case more taste less weight; good trade in my experience.

Yea I plan on watering multiples times a day with big plants in small pots. I wanted the moisture meter so I can formulate the watering schedule as flower appoaches. I wanted to see if anyone worked at a big grow or has a meter and has particular WC percentage. I'm sure there is an optimal % before rewater, I run a large grow so I need hard numbers/research papers before I make a decision.
 
I would be interested in hearing the answer. Unfortunately I get the feeling it's like asking a tradesman to reveal their practice. Because I'm not finding much info out there on water scheduling and dryout. Either it doesn't matter or it's proprietary
