You live with your parents (its obvious) and I do not know why people need to lie about their living situation. Please try to stick to the truth, in the end its one of the only things we have left. ;)
Cheers to the truth!

So I got my ass raided this morning by some cops. It was fucked up. They ran in there and didn't see anything but they obviously smelt MAD HERB(I grow in a pc case)! I told them I just finished smoking because I didn't want them finding my grow op! I was also masturbating when they entered my room.
I could have gone without the masturbating thing.

So no one knew about it, you were only growing in a pc case, and all of a sudden one day you are jerking off and the cops come in.

I want to believe you, really, but I'm just not seeing how they could of ever found out, let alone got a search warrant signed by a judge.

If all things true, you better take this a step farther and find out how and start lawsuits like crazy. Otherwise it will just happen to someone else.

i don't care if he's saying bullshit or not but to get some benefit out of this thread i would like to point out that cops can and DO raid homes just because they smelled some weed and they don't even need a warrant for that. i saw it happen once on real t.v. they got a grower like that, he was noisy, got to his door and asked him why do they smell weed, he says he's smoked they entered he tried to deny em entry cuz of no warrant, they clearly said that they need no warrant cuz they can smell the shit...
a similar story of the largest pot bust in NJ history happened like that too!!! check it out>>> http.www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20000355-504083.html
it's a crazy story. and another incident happened with someone i knew, he was disabled on a chair and smoked all day, so the neighbors had already complained several times to cops about him and eventhough he was legal with liscence, he got raided. the way it went was they first knocked asked to come in and question him, he told them he'll be at the PD to answer all their q's, couple hours later they kick the door and enter with warrant! yeah guys, if your place is smelling the cops can just raid you!

dude if your story is right then you need to get rid of your plants and any illegal shit there, else your deserve gettin caught for being stupid. dont even consider goin to a lawyer and bothering them when you got something they can get you with. they will retaliate and will get you next time.. peace

yes and no.

The OP said someone ratted and said the smelled his crop, or his smoking whatever. The cops can't get a search warrant based on that. The cops THEMSELVES have to smell it. Which is why the real t.v. guy got busted. They cops were already there, and THEN they smelled it. My friend got off with ordered rehab because the cops obtained a search warrant based on what a neighbor said. They raided his grow house (2 story, 5 bedroom, all filled with plants). He went to court and the judge threw it out because the other judge wasn't suppose to issue a search warrant based off of a neighbors statement.

Don't even consider going to a lawyer? Seriously?

For those of you that have all these fantasies that search warrants are magic

In the U.S., police officers are allowed limited searches of vehicles and clothing so long as they have cause to believe that the search will reveal drugs or weapons. Also, if they are pursuing a suspect who flees the scene of a crime and takes shelter in a house or other building, they are allowed to enter the building and perform a search of its contents. A search warrant is therefore necessary to perform a search of a person’s home or other personal dwelling or workplace. The warrant can only be obtained if the officer investigating a case has probably cause to believe that such a search will uncover enough evidence to convince a judge or jury that conviction is necessary for a suspect.

Search warrants are given out on the premise that the evidence already collected by officers and investigators is not enough for a conviction but that it belies such evidence elsewhere. Warrants such as these are specific; they must state clearly what is being searched for and where it is being looked for. To search another room, a vehicle or a garage will require another permit and so the investigators must be very certain about what they are looking for and where it might be.
