The US DOJ did a 1 1/2yr investigation on the Alb PD "Department of Justice concluded in April 2014 that the Albuquerque Police Department's use of lethal force "was excessive and constituted an ongoing risk to the public." The city in November agreed to lengthy reform and monitoring procedures imposed by the Department of Justice .
But less than two months later, on Jan. 9 this year, Lt. Brachle shot Grant nine times with a .45 caliber handgun while Grant made an undercover $60 drug buy, according to the complaint. Grant nearly died. Almost all his internal organs were injured and he lost 80 percent of his blood.
Grant says Brachle shot him from less than 5 feet away, in broad daylight, during a planned operation involving other police officers with whom Brachle was communicating. It was in a MacDonald's parking lot at about 11 a.m.

The homeless guy (James Boyd) was killed March 2014, the DOJ report comes out April 2014, the city agrees to abide by the report and fix stuff in Nov 2014. Jan 2015, Grant gets shot by the Lt Brachle.

My mom worked for the school system and went to get a cdl through the bus garage so she could substitute drive and what not. She was issued a cdl permit. It was separate from her DL. She had two ids.

She gets pulled over and this rookie ask for her id. She hands him both. This fucker is gets wigged out and instead of using common sense and believing her story starts tripping. It was turning bad fast and he had pulled gun.

A senior officer pulls up and ask what's going on and my mom explains. The senior officer told the rookie to hand my mom the ids back and for her to go. The rookie keeps tripping and wiggs out on the senior cop.

Cool part is senior cop put the rookie on his ass fast and handcuffs him.

Makes me wonder how bad it could have went if the other cop didn't show up.

LMAO

Problem is that PD prolly fired the rookie and he got picked up elsewhere. Alb PD relaxed standards and hired a bunch of rejects from other PDs and thats how they got into this mess
