I built my own cooltube yesterday using a Bake-a-round, I've got a 150HPS chillin THREE INCHES over the two girls (LST'd) and the temp stays 81 at the very top of the canopy! Before I was having to keep the light 8 to 10" above the canopy and we were still struggling with temps at around 86, peaking at 88! My cab is only 3 feet high, so I am REALLY liking the max potential with this bad boy!

That is awesome! I've been looking for a cheap alternative to spending £40 on a cooltube, just went on ebay and found one for $5, although shipping to UK is $23. Worth it though, thanks for the tip!

Thanks ya'll. Actually I vegged under CFL's! Six, 4 daylight (6500k) and 2 yellow (2700k) They stayed nice and compact because they're Lowryder#2 genes, but they aren't autoflowering because they were straight crossed by B.C. Mango. They were about three weeks from sprout when I switched to 12/12. I had three but a male showed VERY soon and VERY testicularly. I finally got the 150w HPS from HTG supply (69 bucks!) and bought all the stuff for the cooltube later. They've been under the HPS for about a week and they like it. I guess they are about a month old at this point?

Where did ya get the bulb???
My 150's are rather fat in the middle.

Foot note, move the straws up higher for the yeast CO2. CO2 is heavier then air. (but then a circulation fan can move it around just fine)

I must be missing something here. In the first photo, I only see ventilation on one end of his Light. I am sure it is there, but can not see it.
