I currently have a 4 inch 190 cfm inline blower pulling air through my carbon filter and puching it through my 400w air cooled hood. Soon i will be upgrading to 2 600w and the 400w i already have. the 600 watts are gonna be cool tubes. how many cfm would it take to cool all of the lights together? any help is very appreciated.

I would go 6" if it was me.
I cool 8x 1000w lights with 2-6" inline fans, 1 pushing and 1 pulling and it is just barely adequate until summer heat arrives. You are always better off with extra cfm's so you can turn them down a little to lower sound

sound isnt an issue i just want to be able to cool the 2 600s and the 400 adequately and i dont wanna spent too little money on something too small.

For my recent grow I chose the 6-inch MaxFan, rated at 334 cfm iirc. I ran it throttled way back with a variable transformer, well below it's lowest switch setting. I would say such a fan will serve you well, unless you have difficulty controlling the temp of your intake air. cn
