Cooling My Grow Room

For some reason when I walk into my grow room my camera starts messin up.. Idk whats the problem I take a step out of the room the camera is good when I step in it starts having lines running through the screen

ok are whats the amb. temp. in the room? i dont know how you're going to vent the room with out running some ducting with fresh air from another room in and a exahaust fan running the old air out. it really sux that theres no windows. Do you live by yourself? do you have people over alot. If the bathroom and room is off limits and noone ever goes in there i would run new air and old air out throught the bath room. You might hae to get some a/c . Do you run you a/c? is there and kind of open air vent in that space up top that you have in the picture you drew?

sorry but what is amb? The closet is located in my living room where I have a a/c . I have a room mate. & I just thought that I do have an exhaust in my bathroom. You know one of those regular ones most bathrooms have. And in my picture thats exactly how the ceiling looks but it doesn't have that drop top ceiling like the rest of the house.

I would run a duct through your drop ceiling if you can pull it off and tie into your bathroom fan exhaust to exhaust your hot air, then I would use AC and cool the room that I am sucking air into my grow room you will be golden, now pulling it off without your room mate knowing is the hard part, that I can't help you with as luck seems to be the golden rule in my experience lol
PS AMB is ambient temperature

lol my roomate is the one who came up with the idea to grow weed.. Ima shroom grower but now Im gettin into this so im tryin to do my research..

I just turned on my 400 watt hps in my small closet setup. I went through a lot of trial and error getting the exhaust hooked up, and now it looks like all I needed was the AC unit. I'm trying it out now at the hottest time of day and things look okay. Running the AC can do a lot of good for temp control I think but a lot of bad to your wallet. So I'd try to get at least one good exhaust fan (bathroom ones can work I think) and proly one for intake too, though a passive intake (plain hole) might work too. It all depends on what works in your space/climate in your area. Gotta tinker a bit. But that guy's right you need to have fresh air

Untill I go out and buy my supplies to for the exhuast I just have the door open with a fan at the door to run some of the cool air from the ac into the closet. Thats been able to drop the temp down to 84.

Sounds like your ballast may not be shielded man if your camera stops working when your in that room. May not be a huge issue but if say the room above yours starts having electronic issues and a team starts to investigate it your room may come up.(Sounds like it's a small area of effect though) Yeah though, biggest change one can make is getting a sealed reflector and venting it into another room.
