Cooking Super Soil

I’m planning on mixing up a big batch of super soil next month. I’m not mixing it for pots, but for fairly large raised beds, so I’ll be supplementing the existing soil with the super soil.
Would it be best to mix a big batch and let it cook in a separate container like a kiddie pool and cover it? Or can I mix it straight I to my raised beds mix it with the existing soil and let it cook that way?

don't cover soil or it may go anaerobic, which is bad. I mean if you cover it but it's not airtight, that's ok. you want air to be able to cycle in and out.
You can mix it in the bed and leave a trough for mix that is not so hot. Then you don't have to wait to plant. The soil just cooks while the roots are making their way to the hotter mix....cooking is overrated

I’ll mix it right in my raised beds then. Thanks. By covering I use a black woven weed barrier. I cover my beds with them in the winter after I lay down a layer of mulched leaves, there’s plenty of air circulation.
