Cooking oil shelf life?

So I'm about to be going on an extended road trip and was wondering which type of canna-oil has the best shelf life. It will be a Campervan trip so I'm also wondering if there are any that can be kept at room temp without troubles.

All oils store great... I mean keep your quality oil out of light I guess. Whether olive oil or coconut or canola, doesn't matter. I mean this question is a bit odd, all oil is stored at room temp no? I have cooking oil like a year old I still use. Go google the shelf life of whatever oil you intend to use. I imagine there's also a date on the bottle.

If your talking about potency. It will be depleting at a very close rate no matter the oil, really doesn't matter

Sorry but oils dont store long at all most store less than 2 years when sealed , Much less when opened or stored improperly

But of coarse their are exceptions such as cocanut oil

High NeonJesus :) if you haven't left yet, here is some info for you:

Cooking oils (olive, canola, etc.) can turn rancid if not stored properly, as well as lose their antioxidants faster. You can protect it from the light by using a dark colored glass or ceramic bottle and storing it in a dark spot. Keep away from the heat as well. If you have a small ice chest you can keep it in that would be great, but not totally necessary. Just keep out of direct light. If it is a nut oil, it does need refrigeration because it will turn rancid quickly. If it is chilled it will become thick but it will loosen up when taken out of fridge. Make sure it has an airtight cover or lid. You should use most of your oils within a year of opening them for best taste and nutrient preservation.
