finally some one in the know. this is why i go out of my way to destroy the oceans and i hope the govt finally puts an end to all those unhealthy water falls spewing their negative ions all over me. they make me sick.

Yep I agree, the only bad thing about using ozone is the smell of the ozone itself, even in low concentrations It will irritate my eyes. but there isn't any smell.
Its kinda wierd, there has been a movement away from ozone, I used to see it everywhere for sale.. nowadays its all about the carbon filters. My problem with carbon is it needs to be reloaded/refshed. At least with ozone, it lasts for a very long time unless the grid or transformer poops out.. I've been running the same ozone generator for almost a decade now.

You even know what a negative ion is? Oxygen with extra electron, for a very short period. Never goes more than a few feet. Used a lot in hospital hvac. It is positive ions that have downer effects.
As fas as shitting ozone into the atmosphere, well if marijuana odor wasn't offensive or even illegal, it wouldn't be done, but alas society deems marijuana odor, even in Colorado as an ordinance violation in many jurisdictions.
What's your tree hugger solution? Grow weak sauce?

Maybe he is pulling the air through the filter fast enough that it cannot scrub the air. How old is the filter?
As for the ozone generator.... Same thing as a lightening strike! Notice how clean the air smells after a lightening storm???
Being in the room with a ozone generator can be bad for you because of the high amounts present in a confined space. I have to vent a room for 20 minutes after running mine for an hour or I get a sore throat and light headed!

Mine is used to freshen up a room or house after a dirty tenant has moved out! It is home made using a 12,500 volt neon sign transformer.
lollolol.....been on a bender for a bit and am looking at this for first time since sobering....first time actually reading closely...I was bashing ozone generators as opposed to the ion thing. yep....booze and me are great communicators....hope the statements weren't confusing as they were obvious rubbish, it was me brain that was confused and I thought I was referingh to somthig else. wordsofwordz.....pretty funny

I run 3600w HPS Perpetual harvest in a sealed room with an air purifier and 2 airwicks & I have no odor issues ... & my weakest strain is 20% so im definitely not growing lettuce hahahahaha
