They look good. Signs of nitrogen tox are they turn supper dark green start to look shiny and waxy and the tips will curl down making them look like a claw. Often mistaken for over watering.
Yeah that's why I got her out of the bucket. She was only getting watered every 3 to 4 days. Was using Foxfarm at about 3/4 strength every other watering. She'll now only be getting Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.

Hello All,
This as a few of you know is my first grow. I have made some BIG mistakes. Ie actual wattage from LED and vegged too long as I didn't take into consideration the stretch when I flicked lights to 12/12. Height is def a problem for me.
Anyway... enough ramblings..
Week three just completed and flowers look awful. ( see photo ) Aware its due to the lack of light, but currently I cant afford to upgrade just yet.
Chop or keep?
LOl you joking right?, at that age it wont get you high but give you a headache. leave her

View attachment 4189392 View attachment 4189395 View attachment 4189396 This is what meant about tying it down and being very pliable. Here my girl tied down while training her. She's probably been defoliated 3 times in the process and is about to get another one since I just put her under the scrog. I may still have pics of her branches bent down and sideways following the outer circle of the bucket.
Thank you for sharing this with me. I now see just how pliable the plant can be. :-). The water bottles are a smart idea too.

How goes it?
Hello to you :bigjoint:

Thank you for asking how I am doing. :peace:
I was just wondering myself. Six week flowering and a bumpy six weeks its been. From not enough "light juice" to over vegging. I have remedied the light problem a week ago, got a QB 530w. And as for the height problem, string, or twist branches/stalks.
Please see photos.

Definitely learnt a lot from all you rollitup Folks.... Thank You.

Have you done many grows? What strain?
Hi BaROne, I grew for years, many years ago. Long before all the internet sharing of our culture and grows. This is my 1st grow in a long time. Back then we got all our knowledge reading grow guides and books cover to cover several times over and if you were lucky an occasional grower willing to share info. Back then I grew indoor and outdoor. Indica and sativas. But mainly Indica's. I've grown under various light setups. This is my 1st COB LED Grow. On a shoestring disability budget I told the wife I could turn 1 or 2 plants into a full op. She heard about my grows years ago, but never experienced it or knew much about the process. And was quite doubtful at the start of things. Well after seeing me do the things I talked about, training, cloning ect. With results. Well we'll just say she is no longer doubtful. Lol. Hell it wasn't long before she was talking to the 1st set of clones every morning and evening. Even named the 2 main plants. Bitzy our beast and Mitzy the one that maled on us and had to can it along with it's clones. Was going to originally pull the trigger on both of them last month. Well after a few arguments and convincing, I showed her the extra veg would make up the yield and that it was only a small set back. Like I said; I started this grow on a shoestring budget. I researched various types of LEDS for over a month before settling on what I basically consider an entry level COB unit and had a good footprint and knew I was gonna need a couple but could only buy one at a time. Draws about 300 watts at the wall and is full spectrum white. For the first 42 days they grew from seedlings and were vegged and LST'd under a 4' foot 33w 150w equivalency LED Shop Light and three 13w CFLS. The 1st light arrived and under it they went. More vegging, defoliation and training. Took 1st of clones. Rooted and planted those my old school way. Minus the heating pad I use to have and wish I had it because even 30 years ago they rooted faster with it. Always worked in the past. A lot of the technology being used today we were using back then in one way or another. 30 days went by and was able to order the 2nd light. Wanted to order a 3rd one at the time but vehicle and house repairs cut into that. But they both thrived under them, well until the one maled. Then all the focus went into the other one and it's clones until I took 14 more the other day. Also have 3 GG #4 going. And now we come back to the present (Bitzy) vegged out nice under a 5'x6' foot scrog, switch is flipped and The 8 - 9 weeks of flowering has begun. And I'll sit patiently with the wife on my ass for that bountiful sweet harvest. Thank goodness I'll be able to drag myself away from her and go play with the clones. Which I'll be taking 14 more every 2 - 3 weeks for a perpetual grow.. I promised the wife results and she's going to get them. It'll be getting to cold to sleep with the dogs in their house, besides they fart worse than I do. Lol...

I guess the shorter version and answers to your questions. ( Have you done many grows? What strain? ) Yes. Indica & Sativas. But what fun would that's been? And you also get a lil' insight and background on a fellow grower.....

Keep On Growin' and Keep It Green.....

Good Evening Folks :peace:.

Last night I chopped them down and did the trimming. Took a while.
I'm not unhappy with my first time.

Thank you all for helping me along the way. Great support :hump:

Nice! A cheap hygrometer in your jar will help you lots, there's a lot of good threads here about harvesting and drying in the Forum of the same name, good luck!
