Constant temp swings from dehumidifier

No you’re correct air con wouldn’t plug into that, do you rely on aircon for the temperature? If so a simple air con thermostat would suffice, and humidity and temperature can be controlled independently?

Yes aircon 24/7 for the temperature. Have a remote control (not a thermostat) and usually use cool mode, as dry mode doesnt change the RH at all. Tempted to try auto mode.

What benefits would a aircon thermostat offer me?

I’ve never used ac (not much need for it in the U.K.) but I would imagine auto mode would work similar to how a thermostat would, the air con will maintain a set air temperature, so if you set it to 28c it will keep it there? Just an educated guess, but that’s what a thermostat would do. Hope this helps

Thanks, that seems correct and it is indeed very useful. I will take some temp readings and compare auto mode vs pushing out a fixed 24c temp. It seems i have this feature already built it in. I appreciate your time and help very much.
