Ok bet thanksjust get a mars or spider farmer tent a good 600w led a 6 inch fan/filter combo 4in intake fan

Glad I saw these comments cuz I was thinking bout getting one of those..they look pretty good online but that's how everything isI agree with you on the poor setup with the zippers.
Appreciate the insight !! I will look into that Mars Hydro light I see alot of ppl use that brandJust getting started? ---get the cheapest tent you can find. Fuck it. It's just a tent. You can reinforce it if needed, patch holes with tape, etc etc. SKIMP ON THE TENT especially if it's your first. You can get a nicer one later.
Lights? --go LED. Go full spectrum. There's a million options, same as picking a car. Just pick one you like that has features you like. If I may: i just won this Mars Hydro FCE 4800 on this forum and i would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it for a 4x4.

AC Infinity is the way to go for your exhaust fan, they're not cheap but they're probably the quietest on the market, VERY efficient and the ability to hook them to a controller is an awesome feature. For a 4x4 if you're gona get oscillating pole clip fans, at least one from AC Infinity and you can get an oscillating tower fan or a Vornado Flippi at walmart to put on the floor. Here's a pic of my tent empty, so you can see where I have my fans:

My pole clip fan doesn't oscillate nor does the black one on the floor in the back right. The white one does, so does the tower in front right. This setup gives me FANTASTIC air movement throughout the tent.
Enter the giveaways!Appreciate the insight !! I will look into that Mars Hydro light I see alot of ppl use that brand
Also how'd you win the light on here?
They are good. Every setup will have + and -'sGlad I saw these comments cuz I was thinking bout getting one of those..they look pretty good online but that's how everything is
I was looking for a cheap one to cut up, how was the shipping? blatantly obvious or somewhat discrete?im satisfied with my vivosun 4x4 tent setup!!! quality is on par and price point is good on the pocket, use code JayDoobie and get you an extra 15%off!!!
Why cut it upI was looking for a cheap one to cut up, how was the shipping? blatantly obvious or somewhat discrete?
Why cut it up
I havnt got one yet I was gonna check my local grow store first and see what cost moreNeed to raise it 16" for a hydro table and put 4 slits in the base to fit the stems thru. VS putting the containers inside the tent and losing 16" for tubs/modules/pipes etc. Was a great idea from another user on here and I wanna try it out with a 4 plant setup.
did it have any obvious stickers/branding on the outside? AC/mars were pretty lowkey just plain boxes.
my bad! best of luck, I hate to not use local suppliers but my budget can't afford to pay 2x either.I havnt got one yet I was gonna check my local grow store first and see what cost more
So local stores usually cost more than Amazon? I seen some pretty good tents on Amazon for like 200 or a little more. Wondering if my local hydroponics store will cost more, havnt been there before but going soon.my bad! best of luck, I hate to not use local suppliers but my budget can't afford to pay 2x either.
Normally speaking, the smaller grow shops will cost more than Amazon. That said, if the price isnt terribly different, support your grow shop!!! It's super nice to have somewhere local that you can run and pick something up today if you're in a pinch. Also, if the price is way out of line, ask the person at the grow shop if they can match or do a little better. It's free to ask. I buy all my pots and maxigrow and maxibloom from my "local" just to keep a little bit of revenue going their way.So local stores usually cost more than Amazon? My 4x4 tent was $50 a couple years ago still going like new. Just be very easy on the zipper and it will last awhile. I leave the last couple inches of the zipper zipped when accessing.
Would buy another as cheap as I could find on Amazon if I needed one.
exactly, i dont mind paying a bit more to support local but the only tents they carried here were gorilla brand as full MSRP. Hydroton/soil/perlite/liquid nutes anything you don't really want to ship and pay exorbitant fees its nice to have somewhere local.Normally speaking, the smaller grow shops will cost more than Amazon. I uhm, used some of the wifes old chapstick works great! Also, pick up a box of wax at walmart found in the canning aisle for a few bucks and wax the zippers lightly. It made a massive difference on the vivosun tent I bought.
fan/filter combo + oscillating fansI think I might go wit a Mars Hydro tent, would you guys suggest anything else?
Check this out , would this be a good starter kit or would I be better off buying everything separately ' and I'd probably need 1 more 300w light for a 4x4 rightfan/filter combo + oscillating fans
